For now a third year in a row, graduation ceremonies at @EdinburghUni are being hijacked by ‘pro Palestinians’. You have to wonder what they are being taught.

Strip the ivy and the branding. What’s underneath is a four-year obedience trial. Can this person follow instructions on a schedule without asking why.

The suppression of the court’s reasoning is important - justice that is not open will rightly be mistrusted.
But it is not the key free speech issue. That suppression is probably inevitable once the judge decided his/her urge for conspicuous compassion outweighed freedom of speech. We can speculate that knowing the reasons would undermine suppression.
The key issue in this case, as in them all, is the existence of the power to suppress, the abandonment of freedom of speech and open justice. Such powers will inevitably be abused by judges and lawyers. Ruling classes have always felt that only they should have information with which the ‘little’ people can’t be trusted.

Does Guy Williams believe what he's saying is true; or is he a paid political stooge?

Here's what Guy says in this video:
- He claims the government is attacking Māori names on street signs and government departments but in reality the government is moving to use English names first on official things because most people speak English.
- He criticises Seymour's Treaty Principles Bill but doesn't explain that it was designed to clearly define the Articles from the real Treaty of Waitangi so everyone is treated equally under the law.
- He calls Winston Peters a transphobe with no ideas, but NZ First's policies support rules that define men and women based on biology (for things like sports and changing rooms).
- He says Education Minister, Erica Stanford, is "banning" Māori words in children's books, but she's actually trying to make learning easier for children by reducing the number of languages they need to learn.

Guy is overly emotional and not stating logical arguments, but instead makes accusations of racism without validation. In reality, what he's against, are attempts to make things simpler and clearer for the majority of New Zealanders.

I seriously wonder if Guy Williams is commissioned to say these things or is simply not smart enough to make his own critical assessments. What do you think?

Rural Women NZ has come out against the Definitions of Woman and Man Bill.

Interesting. I mean, I’ve always assumed that understanding biological sex was fairly important in farming.

Generally speaking, farmers don’t try to milk bulls. They don’t put two rams together and wonder why no lambs arrive. Dairy, sheep, beef, alpacas… farming requires operating on the radical idea that males and females are different.

Even horticulture isn’t immune from biology. Plenty of fruit and seed crops depend on understanding male and female plants, pollination, and reproduction. Nature is old-fashioned like that. Bloody bigots.

Apparently, though, once Rural Women NZ leave the paddock, or their regional town, they’re susceptible to the same psychological warfare that makes women in any organisation terrified to admit they know what a woman is and that it MATTERS. biology becomes terribly controversial.

Maybe the cows should identify as milked and tofu should be allowed to be marketed as animal protein.

Who knew that acknowledging the same biological reality every farmer relies on every day would become taboo in rural New Zealand?

But seriously, I know a few women involved with Rural Women and they are not happy about this. Just like most of our stupid captured women’s groups they’re full of women who don’t want to be the one to be called out for pushing back. They see what is said about women like me or @jk_rowling (not remotely suggesting I’m on her level of awesome) & what we deal with & they stay quiet.

But at the end of the day polling shows individual women think this is nonsense. It’s just a pity basically every organisation was corrupted with prioritising men who demand to be seen as women.

Shame on you, Rural Women.
