When I first got back into coaching hitting I did exactly this to an 11 year old who was a good hitter, but very analytical, and he started thinking about the little technical stuff so much he just stopped hitting. I understand they are trolls fishing for comments and reactions, but it’s disappointing because people believe what they are saying is accurate.

Makes sense in that regard. My point is that frito here as big of a tool as teacherman. He advocates completely wrong movement patterns and thinks he’s right because he played pro ball.

Squish the bug, knob to ball, short to long through are all great cues. But……
