isn't it implied that she was tailing katniss at that point? it's very ambiguous but it is possible that she knew katniss didn't eat the berries, deduced they were poisonous and chose to eat them (and she had a reason to). we don't really need to know what happened for sure
foxface died because she ate nightlock berries, which katniss points out only grows in the wilds of district 12 and even she herself wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for her hunting trips with her dad outside of 12. foxface died bc she was desperate and starving.
My thing is him calling Shane’s relationship weird and gross AFTER Shane is outed and the locker room is clearly hostile. Hayden is Shane’s best friend. If there is any time to lock in and say: Rozanov is different than you think, it’s now.
Community in 2026:
Troy and Abed: "we are non-binary lesbians"
Annie: "aww you guys- girls... theys?"
Britta: "Claiming queer identity is a big deal, an an AFAB-"
The Dean, dressed like Sabrina Carpenter: "I'm working late, cause I'm Jeff Winger🎶"
so much art from younger folks is incredibly overwritten. they feel the need to over explain themselves. we’ve lost much of that poeticism or ambiguity due to the anxiety of being misunderstood or worse being perceived as an imperfect individual
sometimes i see certain characters being pushed so hard into a good parental role by the fandom that i end up being like. let's normalize being a bad parent
which is why we don't always consider the people who are born and raised outside of latam and have little to no connection to the languages and the cultural manifestions of our peoples as latin, and of course it's upsetting when a celebrity decides to be latina for clout
in my opinion: latin is a racialized category in the us, and i find it difficult to argue otherwise. but there is no latin american ethnicity because latam is multi racial and multi ethnical. most of us understand the label as a geographical and cultural unifier
