@FFCVoice No, the board should have given him a deadline. Because operating without one impacts not only the identity of the coach, but the transfer window, club philosophy, player motivation. Not to mention that would have increased the chances of him staying with conviction & lower price

TBH this isn’t on Silva anymore, it’s on FFC. Should have made the decision for him a long time ago, being dragged as someone’s sloppy second can’t sit well with anyone, from players to ownership to fans.

Been coaching scared & playing scared most of the season.
Good technical players come to FFC and forget how to attack after a few weeks with Silva.
Been very lucky this year, if things don’t change they’re in a relegation battle next season.

Yes the strikers R underwhelming but it’s Silva ball generally: position, structure, control. No creativity. Result: Low GD, thin margins.
Technical players performing way below potential (ESR, Chu, Muniz&more).

It has a coach that:
1. Fails to get the best out of them.
2. Is not committed to them. If you think players are oblivious to this you are wrong. He’s made a mockery of FFC this yr.

@CottageTactico @Fulham_Focus FFC needs to ask itself if this is what it wants:
If the goal is to survive in the prem keep Silva.
If the goal is to push higher yet risk relegation get a coach that is brave.
But under no circumstances can the club find itself in a gaffer circus like Silva this year.

Reality is Silva is a great coach for a limited team to get them to over achieve (FFC 2022-2024). He’s a limited coach for a good team and hence it underachieved (FFC 2025-26).
