The media needs to stop reporting the LAPD budget as anything less than $3 billion. The entire @LAPDHQ budget is $3.078 billion, not $1.7 billion, as stated on page 174 of the mayor's budget packet.

@gspeng @boyonabike62 We give ours away. I just always assumed they got the “deposit” back. Wasn’t the whole point to incentivize recycling? Especially for those who are not desperate for money and are not worried yet about the environment? Hope the money is being spent wisely
