@jeffbarrow81@SadiRazaMD@Tee1184963@jonnypitchfork Depends how long the v-fib has been going on for. It would try and correct it first and if it can't it will shock if it's been going on for over about ten seconds.
@jeffbarrow81@SadiRazaMD@Tee1184963@jonnypitchfork Holding his chest likely would have been from the shock, which would cause a black out. An icd has pacing function (s-icd does not) he has an icd. It shocks for ventricular tachycardia (abnormally fast heart rate) or Ventricular fibrillation...
@tomhfh Note how he calls them "refill points", then goes on to say there's over 4000 refill points to try and make out there's 4000 of the water fountains. The reality is there's over 100 of them. The rest is restaurants/cafes etc in the scheme where you can ask for water.
@HistoryMick The same can be applied to the workplace. If you have a start time of 9am for your employees and they're often turning up late.. A start time that's specific like 9.02am is more likely to ensure people turn up on time.
@HistoryMick It's a categorization heuristic. People are more likely to pay attention to it than an everyday 10mph sign. People treat round numbers as 'soft boundaries' and unusual precision as 'hard signals.' Therefore it's likely to create more awareness and be more authoratitive.
@rorysutherland I can't remember ever seeing an ad for it or being used on a cooking show. There's so many ways you could grow the brand. All they have to do is create a campaign getting people to add a dollop to your bolognese and they'll probably double sales overnight.
@GBNEWS Click bait title saying 'Simon Pegg movie'. He was going to be in the film, but it wasn't his movie and he wasn't financing any of it as you say in the article. Seems he hasn't actually done anything wrong.
@GBNEWS UK government logic:
Go after Roman Abramovich's assets when there's no evidence of involvement in Ukraine.
Don't go after the ยฃ200m of London property owned by the Ayatollah/ Iranian regime.
@kj__1996@TheNorfolkLion What does the percentage matter. If it's not your religion, and the country doesn't have a singular overall religion than you don't need to follow it. There's no law to say non Muslim Turkish citizens or tourists have to follow Ramadan.
@jeremycorbyn The drones were launched by Iran before the UK allowed the USA to use our bases. It's therefore an unprovoked attack on British sovereign territory.
@Killdeerrr Because those that eat halal or Kosher want it to be slaughtered a certain way. Other people may want to know how it is slaughtered as they may consider it inhumane. People have a right to know not just what they're eating but where it's from and how it was prepared
@DavidPintoD That is a lie. It is currently only voluntary to label. There is a code on the packaging which you'd have to look up to find the answers, and even then that will only tell you if a slaughterhouse is certified for certain slaughter methods, not which method was used.
