Fuck CTV and the entire Canadian legacy media establishment.
Children are dead. At least one little girl is fighting for her life with significant brain trauma after being shot in the head.
As a father, but more specifically a father of a daughter, I wouldn't be able to make it through something like this.
The focus should be on what turns confused people into mass murderers. The conversation around every mass shooting should center around our culture and what leads people to such extremes.
But that's too difficult and reveals too much about the ideologies we serve so let's just blame the guns.
And if there's a mass stabbing in Britain we'll blame the knives.
Or climate change. Or transphobia. Or racism. Or anything other than THE FUCKING CULTURE THAT HAS TURNED EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING INTO A RELIGIOUS ZEALOT FOR WHATEVER FUCKING CULT THEIR IDENTITY GROUP BELONGS TO.
Fuck Canada's propaganda media and fuck anyone who will attempt to once again politicize a bunch of dead kids. The guns have nothing to do with it. You know it, I know it. It's the culture. And until we change that, we'll just continue to find ourselves right back here trying to make sense of how mentally ill teenagers wired on psychiatric meds and dressed as the opposite sex could go on a rampage and kill a bunch of innocent people.

@sarobertsonca What about when the government goes behind Canada's back to make deals with china and pass bills that negate our freedoms? Or to unlawfully invoke something like the emergencies act? So like fuck you eh.
Dear @liberal_party government,
I heard your announcement about topping up the GST rebate to help with food inflation, and I want you to understand something right away.
It did not make me feel helped. It made me feel dismissed.
Because this is the pattern now. Every time your poll numbers slip, every time the Prime Minister embarrasses himself, every time the public starts asking uncomfortable questions, out comes the same solution. More cheques. It is like you believe Canadians are toddlers who stop crying when you shake loose change at them.
But groceries are not expensive because Canadians forgot how to budget. They are expensive because of policy. And that is the part you refuse to talk about.
Food inflation in Canada is not just “global forces.” It is also built into our system. We have carbon taxes on fuel, transport, fertilizer and processing. We have fuel regulations that quietly raise costs every year. We have a dairy supply management system that legally forces Canadians to overpay for milk, butter and cheese so a protected industry mostly in Ontario and Quebec can stay profitable. We have trade barriers that limit competition. We have massive regulatory costs on farmers and food processors. We have a government that keeps adding cost, then pretends to be shocked when prices go up.
And instead of fixing any of that, you send out a rebate and call it compassion. Do you see how insulting that feels? It is like you broke my window, then handed me a towel to weather the rainstorm.
If you were serious about food affordability, you would do the hard things.
* You would reform supply management.
*You would stop layering climate policy onto food production without considering the price impact.
* You would reduce regulatory costs instead of pretending they are invisible.
* You would actually measure whether your policies are making food more expensive.
But that would require admitting that government can be part of the problem. So instead, you throw money at the symptom and protect the cause.
And let us talk about trust for a second. You say no oversight is needed because this is urgent. You say no transparency is needed because this is compassionate. You say no accountability is needed because this is about helping people.
But Canadians have watched what happens when you spend without oversight. SDTC. ArriveCan. Billions lost, misused, or handed to friends. No consequences. No claw-backs. No real answers. So now you want us to believe this time will be different. This time the money will fix the problem. This time it will not be wasted. This time it will not disappear. This time it will not be used to buy political loyalty.
But here is the truth. Money is not a solution when government policy is the cause. It is just a distraction. You are asking taxpayers to fund the damage done by your own decisions, instead of changing those decisions. That is not leadership. That is political damage control. And Canadians are tired of being treated like a PR problem instead of a policy problem.
We do not need another rebate. We need a government that stops making food more expensive in the first place. Respectfully, stop tossing cheques at the mess you created and calling it help. Fix the system.

🚨BREAKING - IVE OBTAINED NEW, CRYSTAL CLEAR, VIDEO
Of Mark Carney saying Canada is entering a "New world order" today in Beijing.
Saskatchewan Premier Moe VISIBILY recoils as the words come out of Carney's mouth!
Mark Carney vs. The Imaginary Invasion Of The Water-Stealing Americans
Canadians were not merely invited to vote in the last election.
We were summoned to witness the End of Civilization As We Know It, according to @MarkJCarney .
From podium to podium, microphone to microphone, Carney unveiled a geopolitical horror film in which Donald Trump was apparently coming for Canada’s land, our resources, our water, our country, our soul and possibly our maple syrup.
He did not just say it once.
He said it everywhere.
He said it with the consistency of a man reading from a laminated cue card titled How To Terrify The Electorate.
Trump wants our land.
Trump wants our resources.
Trump wants our water.
Trump wants our country.
It was not a policy platform so much as a campfire story for nervous voters.
Then came the tone.
This was not normal political disagreement.
This was framed as the biggest crisis of our lifetimes.
The kind of existential threat usually reserved for asteroid strikes or Godzilla.
And yet here we are.
Canada still exists.
Our water remains stubbornly inside Canada.
Our land has not been deeded to Florida.
No American appraisers have arrived with clipboards.
No tanker trucks are siphoning Lake Superior under cover of darkness.
What did arrive instead were trade disputes, tariff fights, diplomatic tension and the usual noise of two neighboring countries negotiating their interests.
In other words, reality.
But Carney’s talent for inflation is not limited to geopolitics.
DETAILS ARE FOR PEASANTS
In what may go down as the most perfectly honest Carney moment, when asked when he last spoke with Donald Trump about stalled trade talks he had campaigned on dominating over Trump, he replied:
“Who cares. It’s a detail. I’ll speak to him again when it matters.”
There are many ways to reassure a nervous nation.
Dismissing international diplomacy as a detail is not usually one of them.
SCISSORS THAT NEVER QUITE CUT
Carney also told Canadians he had resigned all his roles, cut all ties and was fully committed to public service.
The public record showed he remained on Harvard’s Board of Overseers until the very day of the Liberal leadership vote.
Apparently the scissors used to cut those ties required a long approval process and a committee review.
THE CHAIR WHO WAS NOT INVOLVED
Then there was Brookfield.
Carney insisted the decision to move its headquarters to New York happened after he left the board.
Documents later surfaced bearing his signature as chair urging shareholders to approve that very move months earlier.
According to Carney he was not involved. He merely signed the paperwork.
THE SEMICONDUCTOR FEVER DREAM
Then came the semiconductor moment, when Carney announced that Canada was a dominant supplier of semiconductors to the United States.
That statement collapsed under the lightest fact check.
The campaign later clarified that he had only meant Canada plays a role in the broader North American supply chain.
Which is a fascinating way of saying that is not what I said.
THE PART THAT SHOCKED ME EVEN MORE
What may have been more astonishing than Carney’s Boogeyman Tour was the number of Canadian voters who believed it.
Millions appeared genuinely terrified that America under the Big Bad Orange Man was coming for them like a geopolitical raccoon in the night.
I expect better common sense from my fellow countrymen. At the very least some critical thinking about how such threats could even remotely unfold, especially in the era of NATO.
Canadians seem far less troubled by tangible dangers that exist in the real world like the extremist jihadists who have entered our country and some who still are thanks to lax vetting processes and the quagmire flustercluck our immigration system has become after a decade of liberal rule, yet panic over a political cartoon carefully painted for them during an election campaign.
Fear of actual danger appears negotiable.
Fear of a campaign villain apparently is not.
That is not civic vigilance.
That is mass gullibility.
THE COUNTDOWN NOBODY MENTIONS
Here is the part that makes the whole performance even more absurd.
Under American law, Donald Trump can only remain in office for roughly three more years.
He is not a permanent boogeyman.
There is a clock on him.
In three years, the Elbowzo voters can stop clutching their pearls like they're Rosary Beads blessed by the Pope himself.
Canada, however, does not have term limits.
Which means Canadians were asked to sacrifice their standard of living, accept long term economic pain and embrace national decline in order to survive a man who legally cannot remain in office, while locking themselves into the possibility of multiple terms of a wrecking ball here at home in the form of Mark Carney.
Carney himself told Canadians that sacrifice and suffering were necessary.
Lower living standards were a feature, not a bug.
SO LET US RECAP
Canadians were warned about a temporary threat from our southern brothers and sisters via their elected President, united in western culture and democratic constitutions.
Canadians responded by installing a potentially permanent one at home as their Prime Minister.
Fear is easy.
Facts are harder.
Mark Carney did not run a campaign.
He ran a disaster movie trailer.
Once the credits rolled, Canadians were left staring at grocery bills, heating bills, mortgage statements and wondering why the apocalypse kept failing to arrive.
Canadians deserve leadership grounded in reality, not recurring nightmares about Americans with water bottles and paperwork.
SO...
In the end, the great irony of the Carney campaign is that Canadians were terrorized into surrendering their future over an invented threat that came with an expiration date, while willingly installing a man with no such limit here at home. We were told to accept permanent sacrifice in order to survive a temporary presidency, to shrink our lives so that a foreign cartoon villain would not get us, only to discover that the real damage would be self inflicted, slow, domestic, censorial, and long term.
History will not remember this as the moment Canada stood strong. It will remember it as the moment a wealthy technocrat convinced a nervous country to vote against its own standard of living because he was very good at telling scary stories.
