For example, Torah and Jewish law prioritizes the life and health of the mother over the potential human life of her fetus. SCOTUS either supports the mother, or risks being labeled anti-semitic.
I'd like to see a case brought before SCOTUS where a woman claims that her inability to get an abortion is infringing upon her ability to exercise her religion. Let's make this a 1A issue for the religiously conservative Court.
My mother is the victim of identity fraud. @BankofAmerica does not prioritize resolving it. Calling (866) 540-0763 resulted in being passed around like a hot potato four times and one disconnection. Don't say protecting customers is your priority. Your turn, @BofA_Help
While this decision was ostensibly made to supply European consumers, we can still demonstrate our disapproval here in the U.S. #boycottshell https://t.co/waNkHyWAIC
Now all members are protected. There’s no veto power in NATO like there is for a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
Of course, this is all just for show. It removes a single objection that Putin currently has with the status quo. And he would never agree to it. (4/4)
I’ll make a seemingly ludicrous suggestion: Ukraine should be admitted to NATO. So should Russia. Hear me out.
“NATO’s fundamental goal is to safeguard the Allies’ freedom and security by political and military means.” That has always meant… (1/4)
While that’s a valid objective, the net result is an “us vs. them” stance that places Russia in a corner. If Putin is really concerned about the West encroaching into Russian territory, then let’s offer the same protections for Russia that we ourselves enjoy. (3/4)
In 1936: "Maybe if we give him the Rhineland, he'll stop." 1938: "Okay, take Czechoslovakia in the name of peace." In 1939, Nazis invaded Poland. Now in 2014 Crimea, and in 2022 Ukraine. Think he's going to stop? Stand by, Poland.
They assume that I won't put in the effort to make them regret this decision. Here is where they are wrong. All they had to do was look objectively at the evidence, but they couldn't be bothered. Stay tuned.
Part of me understands their tactics: if I never sell on their platform again, there's no real harm done as far as they're concerned. They got their $93.58 which is merely a drop in their revenue ocean. They won't be losing out on a lot of future earnings.
