This is a really extraordinary conclusion from Boulton. Basically: a station should be punished for transgressing ofcom rules (I obviously agree - and the Fox incident clearly does that in my view) but also that a station should be shut because it damages a ‘fragile broadcast ecology’.

It sounds like he’s saying broadcast newcomers aren’t really allowed. Deeply unhealthy attitude.
