So today at gym , saw someone doing DL and had to try myself .
1.5 years later but still it’s an addiction .
PS : No offence to any other exercise but DL , squats and BP are ❤️
Progress is adding 10 pounds to your squat
Progress is eating Greek yogurt instead of a cinnamon roll
Progress is eating the ice cream without getting anxiety or feeling like a failure
Progress is not only measured in muscles or weight loss
Mental progress matters, too
Please stop apologising to your coach when you falter. We are extremely happy when you fight back. You are not doing this to make us happy. You are doing this for yourself. And if a coach judges you for failing once in a while, dump them. They fail too. Be kind to yourself first.

Whenever my mentees join me, I ask them to not think much about weight loss and inch loss. I ask them to think about what all they can gain, because they will :)
Gaining > losing
Was sore from previous leg day , today it was leg day again . Wanted to skip gym but then showing up is important when you are on a goal . And it worked , had an awesome workout. No soreness for now , might be sore later but that cannot keep me away from workout.
