Dead or Alive 3 is considered one of the best fighting games, offering a technological revolution, improved combat and graphics, and adding iconic characters that were and still are considered fundamental elements of the game Dead or Alive Itagaki didn't just fall short in developing the game; he also launched an advertising campaign to encourage people to buy it. The game's story is one of the best stories I've ever loved; it was the gateway that made me love the second, third, fourth, and fifth installments Itagaki, when developing the game, never fell short; he gave it its due and added its own unique touches that made new people love the Dead or Alive series.
@PandaKingEX@MasterNinjaRyu_ Feel like there’s 2 types of fanbases who usually enjoy different depths here.
- gameplay depth: combo strings, routes, variations etc.. on one hand (which ff16 has in spades)
- System depth: gear, itemization, elemental weaknesses, party management etc.. (which ff16 lacks)
「Shimbori on adding tag mode to DOA6」
Sadly, this can't be brought back due to system limitations. We’re running on a PS4 Pro and it‘s using so much memory on the system that it just wouldn't be feasible to add it.
I actually love tag mode myself, and really wanted to add it in, but couldn't make it work. Would you like to know something though? There wasn't supposed to be tag modes of any kind in Dimensions or 5: Last Round, but I found a way to work them in as I wanted the mechanic to be there.
Team Ninja really did make use of the console's unique features and capabilities with Dead Or Alive Dimensions. Hopefully, it will receive a switch port one day.
