The Seventh Summit team from @RAF_Odiham successfully summited Mt Kilimanjaro and walked off the mountain today. Extremely poor weather conditions made for a very tough and challenging week, however we are all in great spirits and resting up. @rafcharitable. Pictures to follow.

Goodbye Kenya, hello Tanzania! Our 8 hour journey was shortened thanks to an escort from the Tanzanian Peoples’ Defence Force, allowing us to get through the traffic with no issues. Kit prep and briefing this afternoon and we start the walk tomorrow.

Many thanks to the Tanzanian High Commission for their help today. They provided visas for the whole team and have saved us a huge amount of time and money. As a token of appreciation they were given a print signed by the exped members. @rafcharitable @StnCdrRAFOdiham @RAF_Odiham
