@AerLingus Hello, given up trying to get through on the phone. Was due to take my 85 year old mother to Toronto to see her 89 year old sister. Flights not possible to Canada and highly ill advised for elderly. Please advise how do I cancel flights and have costs refunded. thankyou, Peter

Possibly my last expedition tweet, so just a huge thank you to all parents, family and friends for letting me share in your kids awesome adventure in Uganda.

Nearly the end of Day 28 - touch down! After very emotional goodbyes with our Henley family and Keith we are heading back to school. See you soon Hartismere! Pre-warning; we don't smell the best :)

Day 28 - On approach to Heathrow, 21000ft above Essex...and a wee bit bumpy. Great flight from Istanbul, the gang are all buzzing, excited beyond all expectation.

Day 28 - Yay, at last! Having been scattered around our various flights the lovely guys at #TurkishAirlines have sat us in a big fun seating block....mind you it might be because we need a proper wash...bit whiffy!

Day 28 - Turkish coffee before our last flight back to Heathrow. Spirits high but hearts still in Uganda. See you soon parents!

Day 28! - Buckle up! seat belts fastened! Now on final approach in to Istanbul airport. Hot and sticky overnight flight from Entebbe to Istanbul sorted. Time for some lovely Turkish coffee in the airport..and expect a WiFi barrage from the team.

Day 27 - fantastic day out on the water. Now back at camp, packing up the bags and relaxing before our 3am flight! #earlybirds. Heartbroken to be leaving but excited to be welcomed home by our wonderful friends and family #homefromhome #feelingblue

Day 27 - Just when you think it can't get any better...we visit Chimp island rescue reserve! Amazing to watch the rescued Chimps in their natural habitat. Currently sailing across Lake Victoria (how cool is that!) back to Entebbe.

Day 26 - Happy teenagers! Real beds, pizza, WiFi, TV and coca cola... welcome back to the world. Down side of WiFi...Liz has just checked her work shifts....ouch! Roll on that long Sunday at work.

Day 26 - left behind our rhino friends today and travelled to Entebbe back to our first ever camp! We got beds and then actual pizza!! #jiggerbutt #pizzaparty. Sorted out kit to leave behind for Tony to give to the community #donttouchmypiles

Day 26 - homeward bound! It's been an adventure, team morale still great after a month together but sad be leaving our beloved Uganda so soon. The gang are looking forward to seeing family, having home comforts....and eating you out of house and home!

Day 23 - Rumours of a hippo visitor in camp last night! Not long before we head back to Entebbe and we are all reflecting on this incredible experience. Think we will all leave a little piece of our hearts here #notcominghome #wannabeexpat
