I know that @SamCKx likes to ignore nuance, dismiss those who are smarter than him, and push whatever narrative he wants, but now he is just outright lying.
In the post I made here (https://t.co/Tn0oRvJ3fb) I outlined the solution prepared by two devs who clearly laid out how changing the value of a variable could make the existing contract function properly to allow holders to safely unstake, and continue the safe trading of EGC without risk of further exploit. That contract clearly had to be abandoned, ideally after everyone got their EGC back. At no point did anyone say this would “fix” their flawed contract. An outright lie by Sam.
In reality, the only people who claimed that staking was fixed was his own team, as demonstrated here (https://t.co/PGmADM9nQb). To reiterate a point from that post, the only change they made was on the dapp, to call a function that was always safe to use once packages were ended. Claiming they “built a workaround” is terribly disingenuous.
The “finance bro” who has no experience as a developer and has publicly admitted to being ignorant of solidity as he is “not a dev”, is trying to convince people that he knows more than the two highly experienced solidity devs who have provided actual proof of their claims, in the form of code snippets, blockchain transactions and detailed instruction. What proof does he have that it wouldn’t work, is simple theory, or is bullshit? None.
Why would he do this? Simple. He is over his head, out of his element, and panicking. He needs to keep his community complacent and do anything he can to prevent them from asking questions (which he would block them for anyway), so rather than own the truth and his own responsibility, he blames Certik, the old dev team, “fudsters”, and yells as loud as he can that everyone should ignore the legitimate criticism, complaints and evidence of his incompetence.
He is a charlatan, a narcissist, and a liar.

@coffeebreak_YT - hoping for a meaty episode here.
@TheFCA - do something with your UK citizen at a minimum mishandling funds in crypto
@SECGov - wait nvm...you probably won't do shit cause you're useless cows
@TheFudHound@EGCsteve783 Sam will just spend days bragging about how he is doing the most ethical thing known to humanity, his followers will get boners, but really he will be fucking us over for the 100th time I truly hate this guy. I wish a lifetime of curses on him
Dear EGC community. After 3 years of failures under Sam, and this last exploit situation, it's pretty obvious that the problem is Sam. Before you are all lead into an infinite loop of new broken promises, I would suggest you all take a real vote and replace Sam with someone else.
@JohnnyR42194571 @KnowYourCoin@CertiK@evergrowcoinEGC@SamCKx Same. So many chances to have cut my losses. I DCA all for nothing, throwing away money on bs 14% taxes with no rewards. I knew this project and sam were bs the first time I saw sam making videos from inside a tesla like a total tool.
@KnowYourCoin @_I_know_stuff_ @Whatsupdawg12@CertiK@evergrowcoinEGC@SamCKx Is this month 2 or 3 of waiting for apple approval?
I am almost certain apple rejected it and the wallet will just disappear, being blamed on fud, rebranding, etx
Well will you look at that. @CertiK removes the audit score from @evergrowcoinEGC#evergrow#egc profile.
Is it because the staking contract was exploited?
Or is that because they pulled LP and told everyone to not trade EGC?
Or could this have something to do with @SamCKx making public posts on X (that he has since deleted) and speaking on live X spaces where he blamed Certik for the failed staking audit?
Sam Kelly used to brag all the time about the Certik score and now there’s nothing to brag about.
@CryptoTruth22 @jays13704 They always just go with what is most beneficial for them, not the community, and the most vocal community members just accept it all without question. I'm so worried about what will happen to my money it's gonna drive me crazy. They want so bad for people to just forget.
This is exactly the type of misinformation coming from #evergrow that I've come to expect.
The staking contract is not fixed. They didn't even do anything to it. They simply updated the dapp and called the claimSelectedPackages function that has always worked just fine, unless you are claiming EGC tokens (which actually could have been fixed, see here: https://t.co/Tn0oRvJ3fb) or claiming Lucro tokens (that contract is currently paused).
You can see in the screenshot from bscscan (https://t.co/dOd89v3EQq) that they did not change any settings on the contract prior to people claiming WBNB and CTRL. As of this post, startIndex is still 0, packageNonce is still 6. Nothing has changed in the contract.
Additionally, the EGC token contract is and always has been fine, and was never in jeopardy. The only risk to the project was people selling tokens earned via exploit, which was only done by only 1 person, and ending the reward packages in the staking contract stopped the exploit (see here: https://t.co/SHZD1Kkf5S). Once the exploit was stopped, there was absolutely a clear cut remediation plan that should have been followed.
As was pointed out to me, you definitely could reuse the same contract and re-open trading even without a pause function. In short, use project funds to buy EGC against the current LP pair to raise the price, and then pair the pulled BNB with EGC tokens to restore the full LP. This could even be done as part of a custom contract or script to prevent any other transactions during the process. And safe trading could absolutely resume.
People are being lied to, and it makes me sick.
@TheMoonAndroid @jays13704 @live4offrd@evergrowcoinEGC @lucrotoken It didn't take a week of study. You are incapable of seeing an issue for what it is, not for what sam says it is. Remember, he is selling something, he has to say things that don't make him look bad. The overeaction is due to ignorance, and he has too big of an ego to admit it.
This entire episode with #evergrow has never sat right with me. I reached out to a few people who could help me understand it better. They definitely know what they are talking about, so with their help I put the following together.
The actions of the EGC team, but specifically @SamCKx, as highlighted in this document are at best, troubling. Nearly everything they've said publicly about this exploit has been either lies, cover ups, or deflection.
I have confidence in the content, but would love for @coffeebreak_YT or any other reputable dev or founder in the space to review.

@AmadMackem Yep, it's a conundrum. Especially since he said it would be a claim system and not an airdrop for the new token, Safemoon ran into the same issues with the amount of people they blocked and the V2 token migration communications.
@Arron_Tweets_@SamCKx There is sketchy shit going on. Sam is fucking us. Better get that lawyer handy. Let's get a group together and file collectively
