Today we finish our season strong at Deaconess Sports Park in Evansville and will be competing against strong competition in the 16U bracket. We play at 12 and 6 today and bracket starts Saturday.

We head down to Evansville, IN for the Super 7 Elite Summer Showcase! We are competing in the 16U bracket for our last tournament of the season!

I got a pitching lesson in and felt great! My spins are much tighter and I am now consistently throwing 57-59 with my rise and curve. I am feeling much more confident in my drop now that its actually dropping after months of it going flat!

Finally was able to get some hitting in after Colorado. I wasn't super proud of my hitting so I went back on the tee to fix some issues for our next tournament in Evansville.

At the CO Sparkler we finished tied for 9th out of 198 teams! This was our first year here and we had so much fun. We had a tough loss at the end but we finished 6-2 for the week. I batted a .391 and helped our team with 10 RBIs. I pitched 21.1 innings and had 22 SO and a 3.93 ERA. Next tournament we go down to Evansville for a 16U showcase.

In pool we went 3-1 and made it into the Gold Bracket in the CO Sparkler. So far we have won both bracket games and are moving on into the championship of our bracket. I helped my team with a HR but I only went 2 for 6 at the plate for today. I pitched 4.1 innings with 7 strikeouts and a 1.615 ERA.

I got to play in the showcase game today and was able to be nominated for the all-star game on Thursday! I had so much fun at this game and I can't wait to play again!
