@aiturri@GadSaad Argentina has a legitimate claim to a spot in the final game of the World Cup, having won their semi-final. They have no legitimate claim over the Falkland Islands, and they weren't even capable of illegitimately conquering them. Pretty embarrassing.
@iJonniM@LeePatekar@cbcwatcher Deport any immigrant involved in crime, and keep any homegrown criminals involved in crimes with deadly weapons in prison for a very long time.
@Markoos88 Giving birth prematurely as a result of being struck is an injury. Cackling about it isn't an argument. It makes perfect sense to monetarily compensate for recklessly causing a premature birth, and it makes no sense in the case of causing the death of a gestating baby.
@Markoos88@AllTwistedHopes@farmingandJesus@kingagrifta You're the one who brought up "half." Somewhat premature babies can survive even in ancient times.
The text just says if she gives birth and there is no further injury, it's a fine, and if there is further injury, then it's life for life, etc. Why do you need to add to it?
@Markoos88 Her fruit departing from her just means birth. That's what the original Hebrew means. When you interpret it to mean the baby necessarily dies, you're adding an implication that isn't in the text. Why are you so intent on adding that implication?
