@bleacherbumhome@brendan_cubs@CHGO_Cubs Agree. There’s analytics, and then there’s how teams interpret those analytics. Some place more value in certain types of players, and shun others.
That’s why we see the Guardians and Rays in the ALCS, with small budgets and “flawed” players. Their philosophies are working.
@kittonacci White Sox twitter is 1000% overreacting. Dude hit 35 homeruns and anchored the lineup along with Vargas while having to learn a new language and new position.
@kreyme8 Man moves across the world despite everyone doubting that he could succeed, moves positions, learns a new language, hits 35 homeruns despite missing a month, and gets absolutely shit on because he went cold.
@DidChaseSlamIt@GMBCSuperfan I do, but the throwing accuracy needs to improve if he’s going to truly excel there. I think that’s something that’ll improve with time, but if he were to be called up today i don’t think I’d trust him there.
@gunnarhers@GMBCSuperfan It’s a strong arm for sure, but I’ve watched him once in FAY and three times in BLX, and I’ve seen him two-hop cut off throws to 3B multiple times and he can get eaten up by deep throws from the hole. Those are things he can fix in time, but it’s noticeable.
@king_gerryr The Ol’ lady wants to go fishing, so I’m gonna step out for a while.
I can’t help you, but there are resources close by that you should take advantage of. Good luck, and tear down your glass ceilings brother/sister.
