Know someone who needs this? Share it. 💚
Beginning THIS SUNDAY, April 12… for water customers serviced by the City of Boca Raton. https://t.co/V7RLdC6csb
To maintain the water quality in the City’s water system, the City’s Utility Services Dept. will temporarily modify the disinfection process used by the Water Treatment Facility April 12 - 26. (This is typically done 2X a year.)
Customers served by the City may notice a slight chlorine taste or odor in the tap water during this period. However, these temporary conditions will not cause adverse health effects. See LINK above to read more.

Yes, it’s still cold, PBC. If you’re lucky enough to be indoors, take a moment to be grateful. If you’re heading out, please bundle up, take your time, and drive safely. For anyone without a warm place to go, these temperatures can be dangerous. Prolonged exposure to the cold can lead to hypothermia. Because of this, the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management (DEM) still has the Cold Weather Shelters available overnight.
