Is there a reason the news isn't covering that #Memphis @MEM_Council plans to raise our sewer fee (see #5 tomorrow's agenda)?

Sewer fee is calculated based on the # of water units you use/mth. It's not metered by #MLGW,so if you water your garden, have a pool=a much higher fee.

@21stCenturyMem part of Collierville has been without power for 8 hours. Went out at 12:30 and was supposed to be back on at 4, then 6:30, now 8:30. No answers being provided.

We see outages are starting to increase with this new storm, but are really hoping those #MLGW customers who've been without power the longest are taken care of first.

Can you give us an update as to what happened here, @MLGW, since it looks like crews are working but estimated restoration time isn't until midnight even though these customers have been wo power since 4:30pm yesterday?

A car accident?
A failed transformer?

This area didn't seem to get hit as hard as others, yet they're one of the areas that's been out the longest.

It's a shame MLGW's Customer Service department isn't more functional - the news shouldn't have needed to step in to get this fixed.

@MLGW What was the reason 11,512 customers were already without power at 7:25 last night, before the storm hit? Reason wasn't provide on the Outage Map.

@MLGW Did the contractors pick up the tab or did MLGW/we end up paying for their mistakes? Also, any chance they could be hit with a big fine @MEM_Council to make them think twice next time? 300 times is a lot.
