@moneylifewax That’s tough because they seem to work hand-in-hand. I think consumerism is the bigger issue because it falls more on a personal level and is more in the hands of the everyday person.
@SmallIvy_SI Probably public school, I live in an area with some good school districts and $10k would only cover about half of the tuition a year at the private schools nearby
When I feel the pull for more, I meditate on the facts:
We have no credit card debt. We have no car debt. We have no student loan debt. Our home is an appreciating asset with a small mortgage. We have all we could ever want or need.
Ignore that voice saying “you need more.”
Road to success usually starts in a daunting place. The path to victory more often starts with no end in sight. If you want to move forward, the journey starts with one step, and continues one step at a time.

@rockstarfinance I ended up paying roughly 30k for in state. I loved the experience, but if I could do it again I’d be sure to take some time to figure out a better degree
