Mao Zedong's reign saw 40 million to 80 million people die as a result of man-made famines, forced labor, and brutal political purges.
The CBC should be ashamed of itself for cheering on this brutal, communist dictator! What are they thinking?!
🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: the RCMP is now knocking on doors investigating “hate speech” against Muslims.
They mention posts made on X. 🤯
We are becoming the UK.
Hard not to notice that Canadians were just fine living next to the greatest superpower on earth until they got caught stealing from them.
The typical whaling and gnashing of teeth is the only response from the thieves, victim card every time the grift gets called out.
@jimlovellrealty Who will pay America's bills? $40 trillion in debt and counting. Muted for extreme obtuseness. And no, most experts believe Ukraine is winning. Maybe you should get out of your information Dumpster and inhale fresh air.
@FernwoodFreddie@jimlovellrealty America’s debt is 125% of GDP and shrinking because GDP is growing. Canada’s debt is 115% and growing because GDP is falling. Revenue from Gordie Howe Bridge is a nice little bonus. That aside, who will pay for the rebuild of Ukraine? You didn’t answer the question.

Mark Carney has signed an agreement with Ukraine to produce millions of drones in Canada, one third of which will go to Ukraine to use against Russia.
I'm not sure who here is familiar with history, but there was an Austrian painter, also known as Mr. Wolf, in Germany who declared war on the United States for the same reason. Supplying weaponry to your enemy can be seen as aggression and get you dragged into a conflict you believe that you are far away from.
They are trying to drain Russia's resources. But it's not going to happen. Mr. Wolf believed this would happen in World War II, but Russia was able to pump out some equipment at about a 5-to-1 ratio to Germany.
There is a real risk of a global conflict here. And Canada may very well be the flashpoint.
@ABSonrOfVikings@CraigBaird The USA and Canadian’s first operations happened at nearly the same time. Canadian forces surrendered in Hong Kong 25 December 1941. USA’s was 8 Dec 1941 at Wake Island. Canada declared war in Sep 1939 and participated in the “Phoney War” in England
Yes! Ive been saying this for years as well. The combination of absolute moral certainty and having zero actual knowledge or understanding of anything is remarkable. Ive seen Gen Z get upset over the mere mention of a demographic statistic or differing fatality rates of a disease across racial lines. Thomas sowell had a great quote that this generation not only doesnt know how to think, but confuses thinking with feeling
@JasminLaine It appears reality may get in the way of canadians wants. But how does emotions fit into this? Canadians are mostly emotional theses days and do little if anything based on logic or reality.
A lot of the people calling anyone skeptical of this fight "MAGA" or a traitor/unpatriotic are sitting on the same numbers I am.
68% reject the job-loss risk. 56% to 60% reject the tax hikes. Those aren't fringe numbers.... that's a majority of the country, including plenty of people who'd never vote the way I do.
The difference isn't that we disagree on the economics. The difference is I said it from the start, out loud, with my name on it, and a lot of people waited to see if it was safe to agree with me first.
If I'm MAGA or unpatriotic for understanding the cost, then I guess so is half the country.
