"It is surrender to the unknown... This is up there with different tools that I've learned, from meditation to the Hoffman process. Because what you're doing is finding the love for yourself because you have to trust yourself."
What in the feminism is this?
You actually don't have to trust yourself at all. You have to trust:
- The laws of physics
- The skill of engineers (likely 90%+ male)
- The ability of the build team (likely 99%+ male)
Turning literal rocket science into a woo-woo personal growth trip
@roadrunner9678 Uh, actually it serves to prove what was stated above. That passage is very literally biblical support for unlimited atonement, consider vers 19 especially.
@Cr82worship777 Again you quote all these verses, first, on the assumption that I don’t know them, and second, while they don’t even support what you initially claimed.
How about you address the verses I provided relative to your claim? How does ANY of this prove the atonement is limited?
@Cr82worship777 I fail to see how this verse, properly exegeted, relates to your claim above. We all once failed to discern spiritual things as unbelievers, but we came to our understanding them once we believed.
Now how about you pls address the verses I posted relative to the topic at hand?
@Cr82worship777 @JimNobeard Limiting the atonement misunderstands the Incarnation. Christ became truly human so that He, through His death may atone for the sins of ALL, and thus that ALL may be saved by faith in Him. Thus, the atonement is for the sins of all, for ALL sinned. Consider Matt. 12:31 & Jn 1:36
@crystal2clear4u@IndianaBrunner@gavinortlund Are you supposing you follow God’s word and he doesn’t? If so, please share how you’ve come to that conclusion.
It seems to me you miss the crux of Gavin’s conviction which he holds in good conscience. And I concur with him, as I think it lines up with my findings in Scripture
Victoria Derbyshire: "Is there a link between you watching pornography when you grew up and the decisions you've made to do what you do now?"
Lily Phillips: "I don't know a life without pornography, so maybe."
Australia criminalises Christianity.
The NSW Government has said the historic Christian view of sexuality and gender is "untrue" and "harmful."
So, it's now a crime to tell an individual to change (repent) or suppress (mortify) feelings and expressions the Bible deems a "sin."
