Mr Ensor finished as OC 2008 (Bawtry) Squadron (where is also Squadron Chair). More recently, he has also held the position of Wing and Regional Chair before moving to the Corps Chair position. A very well deserved award for an exceptional individual. @ComdtAC @OC_SWYorksWing
We are delighted to announce that our Squadron Chair - Mr S J Ensor- has been awarded an OBE in the new years honours list. Mr Ensor has been with the RAFAC for many years (Centurion was a rank, not a tank) and has held many positions during his service.
Tonight was our final evening of the year as we close off yet another amazing year of achievements. A great evening of laser quest and pizza. @LaserZoneCAS
Tonight, the Squadron has visited Askern Fire station, where the cadets learnt about the role of the service and had chance to have a go with some of their equipment. A fantastic evening was had by all. @ComdtAC @OC_SWYorksWing @SYRPC_SYFRS
Fantastic turnout from the Squadron today to pay our respects to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
A huge congratulations to CWO Allen this evening who has passed an interview at wing headquarters and has been promoted to Cadet Warrant Officer.
This is the highest rank a cadet can achieve with the ATC.
Onwards and upwards CWO!!

The Squadron recently took park in a 24 hour scale model build with SESKU Scale Model Club. They managed to raise a fantastic £520 for us, which will be match funded by the organisers company. There is still time to donate. Please help us reach £700.

This weekend, we have a group out doing their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition. After a slightly damp start, the two staff and three cadets are in high spirits and doing well @ComdtAC@ACO_RCNORTH@AirCadetsNorth @OC_SWYorksWing @SWYorksWing@DofE@DofENorth
And that's a wrap. 2022 has been another amazing year for the squadron. We finished this year with a trip to the cinema to watch Avatar 2. All the staff and cadets enjoyed it, even if one of the staff might not have stayed wide-eyed for the whole film.
The Squadron has been out mountain biking this morning, along with our friends from 148 (Barnsley) Squadron. We've had to cancel the afternoon ride due to the weather, but will be back out on two wheels in the new year. @OC_SWYorksWing @ComdtAC@AirCadetsNorth@aircadets.
Sunday, we hosted our other sector friends from 1384 for a blue basic communication course, with 16 cadets achieving their blue communication badge. We'll done to everyone who took part this weekend. @SWYorksWing @OC_SWYorksWing @RFCAYH@ComdtAC@AirCadetsNorth
Another fantastic weekend for the squadron. Saturday we hosted our friends from Barnsley Squadron for a day of air rifle training, with 2 trained shot badges and 19 completing their weapon handling test. We also managed to squeeze in 5 blue leadership badges
