@USNavy ships #USSBataan (LHD 5) and #USSCarterHall (LSD 50) transited from the Red Sea to the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, Dec. 28.

The ships will join #USSMesaVerde (LPD 19) and re-aggregate as an Amphibious Ready Group.

(3/3) Northern Challenge 2023 is an annual, Icelandic Coast Guard-led exercise, designed to provide the most modernized explosive ordnance disposal training in the world. This year’s iteration featured 16 nations and marked the first time the #USMC participated in the exercise.
