This is the problem with putting someone devoid of competence in charge of running a city the size of Toronto, where sound management and good policy aren't just nice to have, they're essential. It's like asking a non-pilot to fly a plane. What are the odds they take off, fly, and land safely? Slim to none.

Now imagine a CEO so far out of their depth that they can't meaningfully get involved in their own company. They don't understand the operations, the finances, or the problems, so any real decision is beyond them. What's left? Put on the mascot suit and dance. That's exactly what's happening here. All the vigorous dancing at every event is there to give the impression of hard work. Shake it enough and residents might think, look how hard she's working for us. Little do they know, Toronto would get the exact same quality of leadership and management if they put a donkey in charge of the city.
