Let me explain to you how this works. The problem is Alex wanted to climb that building. The producers knew that. So most likely in negotiation they threatened him with another climber, far less known, who would do it for less. At the end of the day Alex had to decide whether or not they were bluffing. They weren't. They would just get some random person no one has ever heard of to do the climb for $50,000 and if got himself killed, it's both insured and an event. So Alex probably came down on his price to just make it happen, even though his legitimate market price is probably millions. That's the entertainment business. The more you want to do something, the more everyone pounces on you. The ones who love it the most will always be the ones who lose the most because the ones who don't love it will exploit it. They are the ones with nothing to lose.
We have been made aware of the situation involving Cece during the recent creator tournament.
While we have worked together previously, we do not support behavior that targets or disrespects other creators. As a result, we will not be continuing any partnership moving forward.
We believe in keeping competition respectful, and we wish everyone the best going forward.
They’ll never make another series like Harry Potter again, the cast grew up with us, the budget was insane, the series was risky,
What a cultural moment
