@ColJosephHardin @IkeLibrary I never intended a complete list. Those in my list played much larger roles. We (the U.S.) were basically being bullies againsty a much inferior force in a very unjust war. I do believe saving the Union and keeping the world from falling to Hitler were greater achiements.

In the end both had big smiles.

@notgaetti Depends on what is meant by better. At peak who am I picking for game 7 of WS. Koufax, easy. Whole regular season career. I would go with Kershaw's 15 quality seasons vs. Koufax 5 quality seasons.

@notgaetti Not by how I think of "What if". We saw enough of him to kind of know what could have been.
I would go with someone like Kerry Wood. We only saw a glimpse of him before his injuries.
