Americans found a loophole in the welfare system

She says she doesn’t have to work until her kid turns 7, so she keeps having more kids every time one of her kids is about to turn 7

“We have 6 kids, we live on welfare, and we're trying for baby number 7. I decided I want to try for baby number 7 because well, because we're on welfare. So you don't actually have to work until the baby turns 7, and our youngest is turning 2, so I decided it's time to try for another baby so that way we don't actually have to get off welfare”

She’s right I verified the loophole, it’s real

Federal SNAP work rules have exemptions for caring for a child under 6 years old

And she actually makes more money the more kids she has…

Benefits increase with more children, larger household size means higher grants for food, cash assistance and Medicaid eligibility

The age cutoff seems to be 6 so she probably does it a year early as a buffer
