This country doesn’t deserve a hard-working Prime Minister like you, Modi ji. Please resign and let this country suffer.
Please take some rest, resign and let this country realise what a gem it had as a Prime Minister. We can't see you sad like this 🥺🥹😭
Is this a trap?
D P resigns over paper leak. Now students will demand the same from Karnataka, HP & Punjab ministers for their paper leaks & bribes… but none will step down.
Sympathy for Modi loading… 😭
After Shri Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, everyone is talking about accountability for exam frauds and paper leaks.
But why the silence on KPSC? Alleged recruitment scams worth thousands of crores have shattered the dreams of lakhs of Karnataka’s youth. A recent sting even exposed an alleged ₹85 lakh demand for a Veterinary Officer post.
Why is none bothered?

Kikkeri • K.R. Pet Taluk • Mandya District • Karnataka
Kikkeri is celebrated for its richly carved Brahmeshvara Temple.
But below the village’s great tank—Doddakere—stands another, older and far more fragile chapter of its history: the ruined and now vandalized Malleshwara Temple.
The two monuments are often confused. They should not be.
The famous Brahmeshvara Temple belongs to 1171 CE and is associated with the patronage of Bammavve Nayaki during the reign of Hoysala Narasimha I.
The Malleshwara shrine below Doddakere carries an inscriptional memory reaching back to 1095 CE—more than seven decades earlier.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗞
When Shri B. L. Rice published the inscription in Epigraphia Carnatica in 1898, he recorded its location precisely:
“At Kikkeri…on a stone in the Mallesvara temple below the big tank.”
The inscription is dated Śaka 1017, corresponding to 1095 CE.
It names the deity:
𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗮
Mūlasthāna means the original or principal sacred seat or Corner location.
The name suggests that this was not merely one more Shiva shrine in Kikkeri. It occupied an established place within the sacred geography of the settlement.
The record states that Bitti-Deva—the Hoysala prince later known as Vishnuvardhana—made a grant of fifteen kandugas of wet land for Mulasthana Brahmesvara.
But the inscription is not only about a royal name.
It also brings into view Brahmarasi Pandita, his lineage, Heggade Malliyanna, Bhuvanahalli and Kannegere.
Temple, land, water and local administration appear together in one record.
𝗔 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
The grant of wet agricultural land was not ornamental generosity.
Cultivated land produced grain.
Water sustained the cultivation.
The agricultural yield supported worship, offerings, lamps, temple personnel and the continuity of the institution.
The inscription also connects Heggade Malliyanna with Kannegere—a tank created within this sacred and agrarian landscape.
This is what inscriptions allow us to recover.
A temple was not isolated from the village around it.
Its survival depended upon fields, tanks, cultivators, officers, religious teachers, donors and systems of revenue.
Malleshwara therefore preserves more than the memory of an early Hoysala shrine.
It preserves the structure of a living settlement.
𝗞𝗜𝗞𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗜 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
Records call the settlement Kikkeri and Kikkeripura.
It developed as an agrahara and as a significant centre within the Hoysala landscape. Numerous inscriptions and several temples survive across the village.
The 1095 record is especially important because it takes us back to an early phase of Hoysala authority—before the dynasty’s architectural language reached the monumentality now associated with Belur, Halebidu and the great temples of the later twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
Yet we must read the evidence carefully.
The inscription establishes the existence and patronage of Mulasthana Brahmesvara in 1095 CE.
It does not prove that every part of the surviving ruined structure belongs unchanged to that year. Temples were repaired, enlarged, rebuilt and adapted over generations.
The inscription gives us the shrine’s historical anchor.
Archaeological study must determine the sequence of its surviving fabric.
𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦
Kikkeri preserves two distinct histories bearing the name Brahmesvara.
The first is the earlier Mulasthana Brahmesvara associated with the ruined Malleshwara shrine below Doddakere and the inscription of 1095 CE.
The second is the celebrated Brahmeshvara Temple founded in 1171 CE through the patronage of Bammavve Nayaki.
One survives principally through inscriptional memory and a ruined now Vandalized monument.
The other survives as one of Kikkeri’s finest works of Hoysala architecture.
Both belong to the village. Both in need of proper care
𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘
The Mandya District administration itself describes the Malleshwara Temple as ruined and requiring restoration.
But recent vandalism in the name of treasure hunting has made the situation worse. Multiple requests to various authorities including District Administration and @KarArchaeology has not evoked the serious response the heritage deserves . Hoping it will not be too late for the heritage
Complete survey and documentation of this heritage with proper access and visibility is needed. Most of our monuments become targets because of their secludedness and vegetation covering them
Photography and cataloguing of every loose architectural member. Study of the foundations and drainage.Comparison with earlier photographs and archaeological records.
Only after this work should trained conservation specialists decide what can safely be stabilised, reassembled or restored.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
Technical conservation must be led by the Department of Archaeology and qualified specialists at the earliest
But daily protection begins locally. The residents of Kikkeri, the temple community, Gram Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat are the monument’s first line of defence.
They should prevent dumping and encroachment, report the movement or theft of stones, keep access and drainage clear, discourage unapproved alterations and ensure that every intervention receives technical scrutiny.
This responsibility is urgent.
Kikkeri has already experienced the theft and disfigurement of sculptures at its nearby Brahmeshvara Temple. Even after the previous incident , we could not stop the vandalism of Malleshwara shrine and its surviving stones
Heritage protection does not begin after something disappears. It begins while it is still present.
𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦
Malleshwara may not possess the sculptural abundance that draws visitors to Kikkeri’s better-known monument.
It carries Kikkeri’s history back to 1095 CE.
It preserves the name Mulasthana Brahmesvara.
It records Bitti-Deva before the great age of Hoysala monument-building.
It connects a temple with wet land, a tank, a religious teacher, an officer and the economy that sustained worship. It reminds us that ruins are not empty spaces.
They are Heritage whose evidence has become harder to read. When you visit Kikkeri, spend time at the celebrated Brahmeshvara Temple.
Hopefully the highly vegetated route to Malleshwara temple would have been cleared with temple restoration in place
The monument is diminished. Its history is not.
Below is the one year old post on the sad state of the heritage after the vandalism. Still Waiting for action from authorities soon. Not sure how much we have already lost in this one year

JAI SHREE RAM 🙏🏻
The Badami Chalukya Empire built magnificent Lord VINAYAKA temples in Shirur Taluk, Bagalkot, leaving behind a rich spiritual and cultural heritage. Yet today, many self-proclaimed “SECULAR” Hindus have neglected these temples, allowing them to fade into obscurity, while dargahs continue to receive devotees, including Hindus who visit them regularly.
This reflects a painful reality in India when Hindus themselves fail to preserve and uphold their own traditions, who else will…?
As Veer Savarkar once said 😞
I am not afraid of Muslims.
I am not afraid of the British.
But I am afraid of Hindus who stand against Hinduism.
Now Every Hindus Must unite and support for this 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Lashkar-E-Olatas always love Thook Biriyani so don’t expect any support from them.

Gokul's products are already trusted by millions.
⚖️ If milk, ghee and butter fully comply with FSSAI standards and are inherently vegetarian, why is an additional religion-based Halal certification needed?
❓ Aren't Indian regulatory standards sufficient?
🚫 Boycott Halal Products.

Maharashtra's consumers built Gokul.
🇮🇳 Gokul has still not reached every corner of India. Then why the sudden rush to secure export markets through Halal certification?
❓ Before chasing Halal-certified export markets, shouldn't Gokul focus on serving every district of Maharashtra and every state of India first?
🚫 Boycott Halal Products.

Today I met Vivek Kumar, who was kidnapped when he was in Class 3, converted to Islam, circumcised, fed beef, enrolled in a madrassa
At age of 17, he was being prepared to be sent to a Gulf country when Aadhaar biometrics revealed his real details to an alert official
Vivek was reunited with his parents after 9 long years
It was after his case that @KanoongoPriyank ordered all govt-aided madrassas in UP to furnish details of their students from Hindu families, which is now being opposed by a lobby in Allahabad high court
Vivek, who is from a scheduled caste, has learnt nothing other than memorising Arabic verses all these years
At 20, he now wants to pursue school and we @sewanyaya are helping him
Have recorded an interview of him which I will soon post
Counselled him for long - he was shocked to learn about the truth and tactics of conversion rackets and how youths are being radicalised to join terror outfits
Many are ready to demolish an 800 year old Hindu temple
But illegal mazars and dargahs will continue to exist
Sadly and shamefully, Hindu temples are not safe in a Hindu majority country
Government school teacher Anjar Ahmed and Gul Ejaz forced Hindu students to wear Islamic attire in Sambhal, UP.
Hindu girls were made to wear hijabs and Hindu boys skullcaps.
Islamic prayers were also chanted in the morning assembly.
