These 3 'red cartel' clubs are probably responsible for over 50% of the funding that comes into the Premier league.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds
Cartels exist to guarantee outcomes. In this case both financial and on pitch.
If the 3 red clubs are a cartel, why haven't they demanded seperate TV deals? I guarantee that 99% of viewers would watch those 3 clubs. That's what a cartel would do.
And some saying " Cartels aren't about league position or trophies". Of course they fucking are. A cartel creates rules that guarantee success.
Deal with the facts that other clubs with huge support ( and therefore revenue in the past) completely mismanaged their clubs at the crucial time of change from 1st Division to Prem.
If your massive club has spent half of 100 years outside the top flight or didn't win a trophy for 70 years, that's on those clubs not fucking Arsenal 😭
The Tories increased prison capacity by less than 500 over 14 years and we’re expected to believe they’ll add 50,000 spaces in 6-7 years? They said they’d build 40 new hospitals, never happened.

It's hard to say whether Brexit was right or wrong.
Do you think Brexit was a good idea?

Seeing as there are people who are still defending them:
Revenue in 2007/08 - before Abu Dhabi:
United - £256.2m
Arsenal - £207.3m
Liverpool - £159.1m
City - £82.3m
Revenue in 2017/18 - the final season covered by the breaches:
United - £590.0m
City - £500.5m
Liverpool - £455.1m
Arsenal - £385.9m
Revenue growth:
City +508%
Liverpool +186%
United +130%
Arsenal +86%
So City’s revenue growth was THREE TIMES Liverpool’s, nearly FOUR TIMES United’s and nearly SIX TIMES Arsenal’s.
”Because they won everything”, no they didn’t.
At the time they weren’t more succesful than the clubs mentioned.
United matched City’s haul of major domestic trophies from 2008/09 onwards and Arsenal won more FA Cups (3vs1)
United reached three CL finals, winning one of them.
Liverpool reached the 2018 final, Arsenal reached a semi-final.
City?
No CL finals.
ONE CL semi-final, in 2015/16.
And by 2017/18 their matchday revenue was still COMFORTABLY the lowest of the four:
United - £109.8m
Arsenal - £99m
Liverpool - £81m
City - £56.7m
Yet we’re supposed to believe that City’s total revenue exploded from £82.3m to £500.5m, surpassing both Arsenal and Liverpoo, who had built their status as top clubs for decades, was completely normal and organic?
Laughable.
Financial data: @valuball
Just because @ManCity have been caught cheating
doesn't give you the right to bring out Heysel and Hillsborough shouts.
you're a gobshite if you think City haven't broken the rules, and an even bigger gobshite if you use tragedies as a defence.
