@KasperStats What if someone stepped underneath his foot as he makes contact causing him to lose balance and fall off the base? How would you call that?
@aPROballplayer Isn't it also reasonable to say that the fielder should not have interfered with the runner's ability to get to the bag in the first place? He obstructs the runner's hand from the bag which results in him losing contact.
@MattVincenziPGA The golf course is supposed to be the villain. You root for everyone to beat the golf course and you cheer when they do. It's ok to want certain players to be more successful (and cheer louder when they do), but it's poor form to root for the course.
@nonwinnersof2L @alabamastakes You are also missing the bigger picture... human fans sitting at the track or at home shouldn't be competing with CAW/Bots. It removes the fans from the sport. And although handle is apparently king these days, the sport needs fans (even if it has yet to realize it).
@nonwinnersof2L @alabamastakes Thanks for answering my somewhat rhetorical question in a way that proves my exact point. The odds aren't the odds until the bet is made. If everyone truly expects those odds, then the CAW wouldn't need to wait until the last second.
@nonwinnersof2L @alabamastakes Doesn't change the fact that it's not fun for the average bettor to see the odds shift by 50% in the gate. The differentiation you are trying to make between CAWs and Bots is missing the point.
@kpbangs1@alabamastakes I had the 5. It still doesn't explain huge money coming in late. People wager based on odds. It's not fun to play against major late swings like that, win or lose.
