I've recompiled my big correlations-list using the team data for the entire 2023 season. This tells you what stats are useful measurements and predictors of offensive production (wOBA, OPS) and which are not (strikeout percentage, contact percentage).
i don't need to hear either side to know the parent getting thrown out (and proud of "getting their money's worth") is in the wrong.
even if the ump makes a bad call (or a series of bad calls) it's not your job to get your money's worth.
@TheodoreTooth And every word should be carefully recorded so that everyone can see what both parties said and what the arbiter decided.
And there should be high stakes, too -- if the arbiter decides the allegations are true, perhaps Hart would be confined to a punishment area for a few years.
wait are you saying that if someone is accused of a crime but retains a lawyer who has at one point in the past represented a client who WAS convicted of a crime, the first person is guilty or "knows they're guilty" because they've hired a lawyer who once defended someone guilty?
Just a reminder: Carter Hart chose the same lawyer as my CONVICTED RAPIST, Jacob Hoggard.
By then, Hoggard had already been convicted of sexual assault. Spare me the "she was just doing her job" excuses. Hart knew her reputation. That's why he hired her. @GoldenKnights@NHL
@TheodoreTooth "if he's innocent, why won't he spend his entire pre-game press conference talking about the case?! why would his evil team force his hockey press conference to be about hockey instead of his criminal charges and ACQUITTAL?"
part of my job involves being informed on cybersecurity, so Google always shows me cybersecurity news. recent AI headlines have been very helpful, such as "FBI launches crime crackdown" with stories like "FBI agents conducted law enforcement operations in multiple US locations"
This post (and the comments) show 3 separate occasions where Adell has knocked a would-not-be-home-run over the fence for a homer. Which is funny because he's also robbed 3 homers in one game. So all told he's like ยฑ0.
@silverindow they're going to get paid the same no matter what. so one could argue that making LESS work for them (for the same amount of money) is actually doing them a favor.
(of course, over the long run, workers get paid less if people eat less at the park...)
