@CorbinSmithNFL Pass blocking is a huge weakness, run blocking is nominally better. The biggest case for him was that there wasn’t a clear solution behind him last year. Inconsistent and gives up quick pressure. Hardly sounds like a spot that’s “locked up.” I could be wrong, but not convinced.
@CorbinSmithNFL Not a wild notion that Bradford doesn’t remain the starter all year. Cabledu, Stephens will get a meaningful opportunity to show their value. I’m confident Mike will play the best option. I’m not rooting against Bradford. It’ll b a competition. Even in the SB he had his whiffs.
@ButcherCog@keithpricetrut1 Nobody is saying Verse is Garrett, but he was not game planned out of games. He finished top 10 in pressures, hurries, QB hits, and forced fumbles. You can try to game plan against him but he’s still extremely disruptive. Rams gave up a lot, which you need to, to get Garrett.
@FieldGulls While it’s a great acquisition, do you think Schneider makes this deal?
I don’t think he does. It not working out is more than just a slight chance, and by not working out I mean them not winning the SB, cuz now anything else is failure.
@Verysimpleidea@SethWalder I appreciate your take Fashi. I think it’s more of a case where the “poster” is trying to imply the leagues view, when in fact the GM’s are speaking to their own orgs view. Right to call this out because the league is not 5 teams.
@realbigjoe_24@CorbinSmithNFL It’s just patently false lol.
Was the SEASON OPENING starter in:
2019 - Colts
2022 - Browns (Watson serving suspension)
2024 - Patriots (started over rookie Drake Maye)
I’m not trying to dunk on Corbin, but saying he’s “never been a starter, ever” isn’t true.
@UPS need to do better. Had the worst experience at a shipping location in Sparks NV. Was charged for, “next day” on a package that won’t arrive “next day.” Called the store and they couldn’t have been any less accountable.
@keithpricetrut1@hawkblogger@tylerback99 lol I’m not sure there is anything meaningful to take away from guy running on a treadmill 6 months after achilies surgery. That’s just me.
@OMyatt37381@NoFilm_Analysis Sometimes a player “figures it out” right? Does it matter when? Recent production is hard to ignore, and why should the previous years be a better indicator than what you’ve done for me lately?
@nonamephysio@BrockHuard Exactly. You’d think by the way he’s falling all over himself to defend Cal, that Cal has never gotten to first base and yucked it up with the 1B. (In actual games that matter).
@SeahawksForever I always felt Shaheed’s words following the trade were the exuberance of a player leaving a losing team. Seahawks were the freshest of fresh air. Never held him to those words. Like you, I’d be happy for his return but not at market price.
