@johncwright2001@AuthorXoXiee To say all women are womanly, feminine, loving, and supportive can be seen as misogynistic because it promotes the idea that all women fit into these boxes when women are more than just those traits and can simply not have these traits
@johncwright2001@AuthorXoXiee That’s not fully true. Misogyny is a general prejudice towards women. Putting women in commonly “feminine” roles can be seen as misogyny because it promotes the idea that women are a monolith or all have similar personality traits which is false.
@ky3nty@zee_zhu_ The whole point of the episode is to show the very micro aggression you’re getting mad at. The writers aren’t racist they are displaying racism to bring more awareness
@GavrielWachtel@ShockedPikachuu@parti_king Then why are they surprised when they get a drink poured on them? This is the same country where you can shoulder check a child for walking slow
@Pyrorufus@noahpraetorius2@BuffReview@DavidMMcintosh Key word “if”. I know I personally didn’t watch the video and when I saw the fruit in the photo I assumed they were bananas. It’s possible the person who replied to David McIntosh didn’t watch the video either
@noahpraetorius2@BuffReview@DavidMMcintosh It’s definitely possible but those look a little small to be plantains. You arent dumb if you confuse bananas with plantains. You are dumb if you are suspicious of “green bananas”
