இந்தாண்டு Netflix-ல் Adolescence என்ற Series வெளியாகி பெரும் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது. இந்தாண்டின் அதிகம் பார்க்கப்பட்டு விவாதிக்கப்பட்ட தொடராக இது திகழ்கிறது. Owen Cooper என்ற சிறுவன் மிக பிரமாதமாக நடித்திருந்தார்.

U.K வில் வளரிளம் பருவத்தை சேர்ந்த பள்ளி சிறுவன் ஒருவரின் குற்றத்தையும் அதற்கு இச்சமூகத்தில் அங்கம் வகிக்கும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் காரணமாக விளங்குவதையும் இந்த சினிமா காட்சிப்படுத்தியிருந்தது.

இன்றைக்கும் சமூகம் நுகரும் சினிமா-memes-சமூக வலைதள காணொளிகள் இவற்றுடன் influencers என்ற பெயரில் வலம்வரும் அறிவிலிகள், பள்ளி கல்வி சூழல் என எவற்றை குறித்தும் கவலைப்படாதவர்களாக நாம் உருவாகி கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்.

குற்றம் நிகழும்போது தான் யதார்த்தம் புரிகிறது. ஒரு நாள் முழுக்க அதுகுறித்து கவலைப்பட்டுவிட்டு அடுத்த பிரச்சனைக்கு நகர்ந்து விருகிறோம். அதற்கான தீர்வு நோக்கி நம் சமூகம் சிந்திப்பதே இல்லை.

சமூக பொறுப்பின்மையின் விளைவு இது.

நிகழ்ந்தேறிய அந்த குற்றத்திற்கு அந்த சிறுவன் மட்டும் காரணமல்ல. வளரிளம் பருவத்தினரின் நலம் குறித்தும் அவர்களை எப்படி பேணுவது என்பது பற்றியும் தனி செயல்திட்டம் ஒன்றை உருவாக்க அரசு முன்வர வேண்டும்.

தொடர்ந்து நடக்கும் Juvenile crime-களின் வேர்களை நாம் அடையாளம் கண்டு நீக்கினால் ஒழிய இவற்றுக்கு தீர்வில்லை!

IRONY is that the Vigilance dept is also corrupt and works on what percentage to be received as bribe from improportionate assets of corrupt employees.
