There’s been a lot of focus on Nepal’s prime minister this week.

But the real hero for Nepal in New York has been Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal, who participated in around 40 bilateral and multilateral engagements, highlighting Nepal’s climate vulnerability and the concerns of developing countries.

The @UN General Assembly has been the place where the world’s toughest & most consequential problems are confronted head-on.

As I join the 81st #UNGA session for the last time as Secretary-General, I have enormous hope for a better, healthier & more peaceful future thanks to the work that happens here.
