I do agree that knowing your product from the technical perspective (the challenges, the opportunities and the opportunity cost) is important but you don't necessarily need to know how to code

take a deep breath and remember why you started with these features in the first place, what was the core JTBD (Job to be done), what was the proposed solution and how it fit in the overall product strategy.
