1/ Ever since I've started this advocacy journey, I've seen a lot of irrelevant arguments from those who don't have basic understanding of the unequal c'ship issue, or rather they refuse to see the logics in front of them. They confuse "belief" & "rights". #SayaJugaAnakMalaysia
Please continue to offer support to the amazing people and organisations such as DHRRA and MCRA in eradicating statelessness in Malaysia. The fight is far from over!
Absolutely overjoyed to hear that the citizenship law amendment was voted through by Dewan Rakyat!
As an affected mother, although my personal journey reached a resolution earlier this year, my heart is still deeply connected to this cause, and this victory feels personal.
While there is still more work to be done in addressing the regressive amendments and statelessness issue, this step forward is a beacon of hope, ensuring that no child will be denied their rightful place simply because of outdated laws.
I was on the verge of giving up this citizenship quest towards end of last year. Not gonna lie, I was tired. I didn't have the energy and fire in me to go on after the constant curve balls being thrown at us. I accepted "it is what it is, and I have to move on at some point".
It was a mixture of disbelief, euphoria, relief, excitement, grateful, & some guilt. Why? Coz there are affected mothers and children like me who haven't gotten the approvals they desperately seek, esp the OBC will not benefitted from the amendment;
All and all, reality slowly settled in. I am immensely grateful and happy for the outcome. No question about it! It is a win for me personally, and I will continue to support the cause in whatever capacity I can.
@naturallismss Lol. You can't even explain even if you try your hardest. It's ok, I don't expect you to, I can tell you don't have the intellectual rigour to have any constructive conversation with anyone. Good luck and I hope common sense will find you someday!
Pls safeguard the most vulnerable amongst us.
C'ship shld be a shield, not a weapon. We shld build a place where kids are nurtured, not neglected; where the promise of a future isn't marred by the shadows of discrimination / statelessness.

@CikPuan_CTzen@EstherJohor Sebabtu la, cik/ puan x buat research. Kalau laki 🇲🇾 kahwin perempuan British (for example), anak mereka boleh dapat kewarganegaraan 🇲🇾 & 🇬🇧. Itukan 2 kewarganegaraan? Sama je, tapi korang x complain? Sedih la, korang ni semua x nak faham isu sebenarnya.
