Aim of human life is to attain the truth and not just know the truth from books. Only when you attain the truth that you are free from all pain and problems.
@turiyaa They say EI is about realizing that no explanation is ultimately needed. When the mind stops trying to explain every feeling and simply observes it without resistance, detachment and joy arise naturally.
You are neither earth, nor water, nor fire, nor air, nor space. You are the witness of those five elements as Consciousness. Understanding this is liberation.
Ashtavakra Gita
The real purpose of wealth is freedom. Freedom to slow down. Freedom to not rush through your own life. Freedom to spend your days doing things that you actually care about. That’s what money is really for. Not to impress strangers. Not to collect expensive distractions. But to buy back your time. A quiet breakfast without checking emails. Long dinners without looking at the clock. Conversations without feeling rushed. A two-week vacation where your nervous system finally relaxes. Time to read. To think. To explore your interests deeply. That’s real wealth. Everything else is noise.
opposite. "don't think, just do" is the way.
your impulses, your intuitions are straight from the unknown. it's what's guiding, leading you. follow that & see where it leads. just watch.
hesitation is fear, it's doubt, it's second guessing all that. hesitation is misery.
Watch your thoughts as you watch the street traffic. People come & go; you register without response. It may not be easy in the beginning but with some practice you will find that your mind can function on many levels at the same time & you can be aware of them all.

The sense of body is a thought, the thought is of the mind, the mind rises after e ‘I’-thought; the ‘I’-thought is the root-thought. If that is held, the other thoughts will disappear. There will be no body, no mind, not even the ego, only the Self in its purity.
Ramana Maharshi
It's a very self-insinuating prank being played by SELF upon SELF
You are not a person. You are infinitely greater than a person. You are infinitely greater than a world. You are infinitely greater than a universe. You are infinitely greater than trillions of universes combined together. I lost words trying to say how wonderfully great you are. Yet, in a certain seemingly real storyline projected by your own energetic effect, i.e., awareness or consciousness, you mistake yourself as a petty person suffering a story called "my life". You identify the image of a "body" as your identity, you attach to the storyline as "my life". It's very much like you are mistaking your dream experience as your reality.
As a metaphor, I say that you are Infinite Radiant Energy that can emit holographic images, and you literally mistake the figurines of holographic light forms as "me, you, the others". You have not yet realized that you are none of them. You forget that you are the ultimate light source that is projecting the entire show. You mistake yourself to be a figure in the show.
Using Infinite Radiant Energy as a temporary metaphor is useful, it can help you realize that you are not an object. But still, you are infinitely greater than a mere form of energy. You are so infinitely great that you are beyond description. You are more like a super intelligence that has no bounds.
This super intelligence is the only presence, that is SELF. It is so intelligent that it automatically plays perpetual self-insinuating pranks to itself nonstop!
The more it takes its own energetic images as literal reality, the more the images appear real and concrete to the perceiving mind, this is how self-insinuation going on hyper drive. The more you think this is "my life", the more it appears as "your life". The more the Mind thinks that this is an actual space and time, the more real and intimidating the space and time looks to the perceiving Mind. The deeper you stick to such belief, the deeper the suffering goes. This is self-reinforcing the self-insinuation. Of course, there is no actual suffering. It is like the suffering you seem to experience in a dream, seemingly severe, but entirely empty.
For example, if you feel painful for "your life", you come to a spiritual path. This so-called spiritual path can be just another temporary escape from your pain. It won't heal you pain because you are still thinking that "your life" is actual and your "pain" is actual. As long as your motivation to escape is strong, the self-insinuation is going on hyper gear. The more you want to escape from something, that "something" becomes stronger and stronger.
When you come to my pages, I directly point out to you that this is entirely not what you think it is. You are entirely not what you think you are. I directly point out to you that you don't need any escape at all. The so-called painfulness is not actual painfulness. It's like a tiger you want to run from. Suddenly, you stare directly into the eyes of the tiger, you realize that this is just a paper tiger. Likewise, one moment you are honest with your painfulness, you will come to a realization that the so-called pain is caused by some hidden illusions held as reality. The entire show is actually a giant joke you are playing upon yourself. Please stare at your sufferings, see what they are.
If you seek the Immutable, go beyond experience. When I say: remember ‘I am’ all the time, I mean: ‘come back to it repeatedly’. No particular thought can be mind’s natural state, only silence. Not the idea of silence, but silence itself.
Think 'I-I-I' and hold onto that one thought to the exclusion of all others. The ego has its source in the Self and is not separate from it. Hence, the ego must be retraced to merge in its source. The core of the ego is called the Heart.
