The political establishment in Australia is not entirely stupid, they just think you are.

As they lament the rise of One Nation, they pretend they don't understand it. Because if they showed us that they understand the resons, they then have to make a major admission. Hanson's rise is all their fault.

Because the major parties and the faux independents have been on a unity ticket on all of the big problems they have jointly caused for decades.

They can’t hide from the messes they have caused, so now they want to blame everyone else but themselves.

Today, on ABC’s Insiders, Annabel Crab belled the cat, as Karvelas did the two step crab walk. Annabel correctly diagnoses the political situation here right now.

It is not a love for Hanson, or One Nation that is causing the surge, but a total lack of faith in the other offerings.

It almost does not matter what Hanson says or does, because her greatest strengths are that she is there, and she is not one of them. Those are enduring traits and the more the major parties hit her, the more the media carry on about her, and the more the establishment present her as a “deplorable”, the more people they will push in her direction.

It is like they are in quicksand... the more they struggle, the deeper they sink.

People are growing ready for wild political change. A worsening economy and a growing collapse in social cohesion has put the nation on edge. The big end of town want to pretend everything will be fine when the latest special envoy delivers their newest report, but nothing changes.

Nothing changes because nothing is supposed to change. Because the government, the opposition and their Green Teal cheer squads want things just the way they are.

They didn’t just pass all of the enabling legislation for no reason. There are real beneficiaries of these things, it is just that none of the beneficiaries are the Australian people.

Australians have broadly been the target of the changes made to benefit foreign interests, the political class and major corporations. We have been targeted for so long it is impossible not to feel the cross-hairs of the scope resting on our forehead.

Hanson and her team simply have to talk about that feeling... they don’t even have to have a solution. Because when the establishment continues to pretend the problems don't exist, just acknowledging the pain is enough to earn a vote.

Annabel nails this sentiment in just a few words. Right as Karvelas changes the subject, because it is not that this isn’t obvious, it is because Karvelas is there to cover it up, and hit Hanson’s credibility again.

Fuelling the vicious cycle of the rise of the outsider.

Unless something significant changes in the establishment, and I don’t expect it will, there will be major upheaval at the next election.

Most people will not be voting for their favourite party or person, they will primarily be voting against the status quo, because in their minds, it could not possibly be worse than what we have experienced for decades... but it just might be a little bit better.

And that is a risk worth taking. After all most of us like a punt.

The Ann Widdecombe narrative unravelled - and the left are celebrating and exploiting her murder.

First she died from natural causes, then she was bludgeoned to death by a white man - let’s be very clear, a white man, we found a white man everyone - during a "bungled burglary" - then another white man, definitely a white man, was arrested who "wasn't politically motivated" and had just randomly driven 300 miles from Rotherham to Ann’s house and back with a weapon.

Then it turned out that yes, it’s being investigated by counter terror police and the suspect is a man who was reading communist literature and has learning difficulties. Really? What family? She was what, 78, 79? No husband, no kids? Her mum and dad contacted a Mail on Sunday journalist via a seance to say Anne wouldn't want her death to be exploited for political purposes? There were reports that our nephew was laying a wreath with Nigel Farage. And Anne was a politician and a supporter of Nigel Farage.

And the media quickly pivoted away to talk about "12 arrested over a far-right terror plot" threatening an Islamic event near Ipswich. Politicians said that this involved a credible threat to life, but there are independent reports saying it was just men flying a drone to see what was going on at the Islamic event.

It looks like there are good reasons to see what was going on at the Islamic event, as it was affiliated with Tablighi Jamaat, a movement prohibited in Saudi Arabia and banned as extremist in several Central Asian countries and Russia. Saudi authorities have described it as a danger to society and a gateway to terrorism.

Despite the accusations that Farage and others on the right were exploiting Annabelle Dickens' death, it was Labour who exploited it, using it as an excuse to push forward their plans for regulating social media and tweaking the algorithm to show state propaganda instead of people like me.

Just so you know- because I care about your opinion-

I never refused to apologise.
I refused to say I made a false police complaint or that I defamed Matthew Guy.

Both allegations were levelled at me publicly. Guy called a press conference and pretty much told the world I was a liar and a man hater, also not true.

Unlike his, my allegations were made in private, I was afraid of escalations beyond what had happened- but I kept them private & going to the police was a last resort at the direction of the party.

But also my PTSD from being raped is not the main issue- I have serious trauma and fear of about several men in our party due to the last 4 years where they whipped up hatred & violent death and rape threats against me and almost made me homeless… Guy himself has a 4 year history of targeting me with hostility- so there was no world in which he could ever grab me, feel me pulling away, override my strength -causing me pain and fear- and pull me towards his face over and across another man’s lap- and have me consider that ‘friendly’.

Party rules & senior Libs said physical contact is possible assault so go to the police.

Media kept reporting edited snippets of my emotional confidential texts to senior libs taking my complaint- but they are not the same as my sworn police report.

I never accused Guy of “violent” assault or attributed intent to him in my actual police statement- on purpose.

I told the policeman I couldn’t see what he did exactly, or even if he used one arm or two but that I thought it was just one, but it felt like my head was controlled, like some kind of “headlock”- that’s clearly not someone fabricating things out of thin air. It’s someone struggling to describe how something felt.

Ignoring the unique relationship between me & Guy, the targeted severe hostility toward me over the last 4 years in general, that I was fearful of future escalations & that I was told to go to police by the Party- but hyper focusing on one wrong word in my emotional text messages & 20 seconds of poor quality footage has been incredibly bad faith, unfair reporting.

I predicted the police would say there’s not enough here to move forward, and I had planned on going back to the party afterwards and saying, see it’s not a criminal threshold. You need to help me and call off the bullying.

AND- once I finally saw the footage and watched it over and over- I realised there might be another reason for how it all felt to me, even though he loathes me- the footage seemed to suggest that he may have been impacted by alcohol and off balance himself, and gripping me so hard because of that.

And I did the right thing by correcting a term I got wrong and publicly stating I didn’t attribute intent to Guy for what I experienced, in preparation for the meeting Jess had called for when I returned from overseas.

But they cancelled the meeting and called for a disendorsement instead..
