I try to hide my geekish tendencies with sadness and coffee.

[BBC News (World) @BBCWorld]

A7) What's exciting about science? The current answer *always* leads to the next cool question! #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

@sciencegurlz0 that's pretty incredible.

[Dr. Sciencegurl @sciencegurlz0]

@photopidge @CoopSciScoop @gmetson @Aerin_J @2Sstevens Fiance' is geologist & getting art degree. He's making new glazes out of minerals. :)

RT aetiology: Q5: I love science fiction but sometimes it's hard to suspend disbelief! #scistuchat

[Dr. Kiyoko Gotanda @photopidge]

A7: TIME. Time absolutely FASCINATES ME. #scistuchat

[Doc McStephins 👩🏾‍🔬💜 @ThePurplePage]

One more question from me: Q7 What excites you about science? #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

@leon_summer way cool! I do that too! #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

@Pickle99Scott I wouldn't say that. a lot of scientists really dislike it because of just the pure stereotypes & inaccuracy. #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

A6: Not quite. I've had to write an essay about some special kind of cell once in English. That's about it. #scistucjat

[Dr. Tara C. Smith @aetiology]

.@2Sstevens And badly stereotypes scientists. I totally know pop culture (even though I also was on Quiz Bowl...hmph Sheldon) #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

@CoopSciScoop Not at all. #scistuchat

[Michael H. Tomasson, MD @MTomasson]

Q6: Are there ways in which science has helped you with non-science subjects? #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

A5: To be honest, I don't feel like The Big Bang Theory is the best example. I feel like it's very 'fictioned' so to speak. #scistuchat

[Sstevens2 @2Sstevens]

@cenewman0 Orphan Black is such an amazing show. UGH. Such a great story. #scistuchat

[Tim Skellett @Gurdur]

.@2Sstevens But there's always "Breaking Bad" for chemistry. #SciStuChat
