@tommolog They were already circling the drain in the U.S., defaulting on supplier contracts, etc. Now itโs clear why, they must have known this was coming.
@gothburz All of these guys were happy to benefit from the grift and the b.s. weren't they? Only when the gravy train ends do they gain a sense of remorse. Interesting how that works. A little like journalists who hold back the juicy story until they can get a book deal.
@RedWavePress There's a marginal tax bracket issue to address, otherwise jumping from the bottom half to just over that threshold becomes a net income cliff. Otherwise, hell yeah. Exclude the first $70k (or whatever) of earnings from federal taxation.
@DagnyTaggartUSA The real Dagny Taggard would never have posted something like this.
Go, do, build. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps. Whining for daddy Vance shoukd be beneath any self-respecting conservative. Where is your pride, your steely determination, your obvious superiority? Rise!
@AndrewTWalker You're a dude. You aren't held to the same level of responsibility. It's likely that, for you, it's an occasional diversion to be a parent. For Mom, it's an all-consuming, inescapable level of accountability.
@Tammy2226389288@sappholives83@MarriottIntl FWIW I agree with you. I wouldn't step foot in a country where I categorically have fewer rights and less protection and recognition under the law. A good reason to boycott these countries as well as boycott the hotel chain for weaponizing the law against customers like this.
@SenEricSchmitt Willful ignorance of the state of the job market in the U.S., Eric. I'm sure your staff is hearing about it from your constituents. Maybe you are too busy tweeting to hear about it
@FBI@NewYorkFBI The wealthy and powerful are immune, while the poor are held accountable? Not a good look. But then, I consider your own leader's behavior and inappropriate use of taxpayer funds and assets for personal gain and aggrandizement, and it all starts to make sense.
@ChairmanSelig@CFTC@SDNYnews That's on brandโgo after the easy target, and ignore the mountain of public examples of elected officials insider-trading and winning far larger sums.
Embarrassing.
