@dandomK@pureuranium I know, but we had first refusal when he left Barca. Wenger was still bitter though and we'd bought Özil the summer before so we passed up on the chance. Still hated seeing him play for them but my feelings were mixed because it was our own choice to let him go to them
Gameplan worked brilliantly in the first half and we could have had more, we only lost momentum because the ref decided we weren't allowed to touch PSG's players
I appreciate it’s still incredibly raw but could I ask Arsenal fans; were you ok with the tactical approach or did you want a little more drive tactically?
From my POV, I feel the early goal set a tone that forced you to sit even more than you would have wanted, that fair?

@unironicneocon@inceptstellar@ViciousFr0g Agree, I also don't think the film would have made that much of his Jewishness (e.g. pretty sure you can see his Star of David necklace fall out of his shirt during the final match) if that wasn't the point
What a load of nonsense - I can't think of another club that's spent as much as Chelsea have since Boehly et al came in with as little success. If that's not a failure I don't know what is

Totally agree, I feel like a lot of the online reaction to Marty Supreme (particularly the negative stuff) misses just how important Marty's Jewishness is to the story, especially the final match
I find it interesting so much of the debate about the Jewishness of “Marty Supreme” is focusing exclusively on the Holocaust instead of placing that anecdote in the context of stealing a block of the Pyramids because “we built that.”
And Milton Rockwell’s exploitation of Marty.
@pourfairelevide Agree, I don't really understand how he can say 'no one thought it needed to be justified or condemned' about a culture that produced The Trojan Women
