@tizzodd1 Trees retain water, pine trees are +/- fire resistant, & oddly need fire to help their seeds germinate.

Houses are built from kiln-dried wood, plastics, & 3-tab roofing (tarpaper w/gravel) add it all together and build fire-fuel houses close together & lose entire neighborhoods
