They have been taken out of context - no they include self‑contained assertions, not quotes, jokes, or comments that rely on missing context e.g. “I’m sexist, sorry but I am.”
They're the sort of comments you hear in every pub in the country, every evening - no, not in my locals we wouldn't put up with it. Would you in yours?
