@Combat_learjet I’d have reported it but it looks like something from a vent on a fuel tank or some other type of mechanical piping. What’s on the concrete pad next to it?

🛩️ This is so cool: A Redditor living under SFO's takeoff path built a ceiling projection that maps every plane flying over their house in real time, using ADS-B, the open radio signal aircraft broadcast on 1090 MHz. Same feed as FlightRadar24, picked up with a cheap SDR dongle and beamed onto the ceiling.
#MeteorSighting: Eyewitnesses in New England and @NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite reported a bright fireball on Saturday, May 30, at 2:06 p.m EDT accompanied by a loud noise. The meteor appears to have fragmented at an altitude of 40 miles over northeast MA and southeast NH. The energy released at breakup is estimated to be equivalent to about 300 tons of TNT, which accounts for the loud noise.
Eyewitness accounts supplied by the American Meteor Society.
@Aviation_Intel I caught it arriving at BGR today. I heard it was on the ground and maybe that’s true but there is shrapnel damage on both sides of the flaps. When it’s parked, do they usually have the flaps retracted? Losing like some damage where it would’ve been retracted into the wing.
@thenewarea51 I will die on that hill. The only thing that comes close is the Dreamliner for me. That 3 holer is so sleek and curvy in all the right places. I feel fortunate to have flown on one back in the day. Wish I could get a photo of one.
Daylight reveals the extent of damage caused to Launch Complex 36 (LC-36) and the surrounding area of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, following last night’s massive explosion of Blue Origin’s New Glenn during a Static Fire Test. Significant fire damage to the launch pad, tower, and other infrastructure can be seen - which will undoubtably require months of repairs - while debris from New Glenn lay scattered around LC-36.
