Me puse cabezón con $FCUV y permití que mi ego tomara el control. Después intenté recuperar la pérdida utilizando todo lo que me permitía la cuenta.
Hoy no gestioné el riesgo. No respeté el mercado. No supe aceptar que estaba equivocado.

Los fantasmas del pasado volvieron y, en una sola batalla, perdí todas las ganancias que había conseguido este mes. Finalmente, cierro julio prácticamente en break-even, pero para mí es una derrota.

No por el dinero, sino porque hoy dejé de ejecutar como el trader que quiero llegar a ser.

El 1 de agosto de 2024 comencé este camino. Han pasado casi dos años de estudio, sacrificio, errores, evolución y muchas horas delante de las pantallas.

Agosto no será el mes de lamentarse.

Será el mes de levantarse, revisar cada error, reconstruir la disciplina y volver mucho más fuerte. Porque puedes perder una batalla sin perder la guerra. ☠️

Hoy ha ganado mi ego.
Mañana vuelve el trader.

Rendirse no está en mi vocabulario.
Este pirata todavía tiene mucha guerra que dar. 🏴‍☠️📈

El resultado no cuenta toda la historia. Hoy cometí dos errores que tengo que grabarme a fuego:
1️⃣ No debo juzgar una noticia.

Mi trabajo no es decidir si una noticia es buena o mala. Mi trabajo es observar cómo reacciona el precio.
Hoy $CAPR me lo ha vuelto a demostrar.

2️⃣ No se shortea nada por encima del PMH.

Si mantiene y consolida por encima del Premarket High, no es un short: es un posible G&G. 📈
Shortearlo significa luchar contra la estructura y contra el momentum.
El mercado te permite ganar dinero y, aun así, te señala los errores.

Hoy el barco termina verde, pero las dos reglas quedan escritas en la cubierta:

☠️ No juzgar noticias.
☠️ Por encima del PMH, no hay short.

Objetivo diario conseguido en las dos cuentas.
Pero el After se me dio mal y terminé devolviendo dinero que no tenía por qué arriesgar.

La lección es simple y duele justo porque es verdad:
si el objetivo diario está hecho, no necesito seguir tradeando.

No siempre el error está en perder.
A veces el error está en seguir buscando más cuando el día ya estaba ganado.

Hoy el barco vuelve verde, pero con aviso en la cubierta:

saber parar también es parte de ser rentable. 🏴‍☠️📈

Another blah day for me and mostly worked on other things. $EDBL and $DFNS I didn't want to short due to the float. $LGHL and $BIYA are China related so stayed away. $ENTX I was early on the first short and the 2nd short I sized down so ended up with a small loss. Also took a long on accident which costed money. $LVWRI was a little early on the first short as well but was super tiny and was able to add at the right time but never did any size. $WLDS I was stalking all day and whiffed. $CVNA I got sick of the swing short.

$SPY has the benefit of rotation but even that chart is starting to paint a picture of exhaustion. 50sma is a big spot going forward if we want to avoid a bigger move down.
