Medhi Hasan: “The 2 biggest hits to growth in the UK over last 10-15 years were brought about by Tory govts: austerity & Brexit”
Tory MP Jeremy Hunt: “Covid, global financial crisis, Ukraine?”
MH: “They were global issues. I’m talking about ones we did to ourselves”

90% of countries in the world can own their water but not us. People in England want their water back. But the government is protecting private water profiteers.
It’s time to give the public a say. @Feargal_Sharkey wants you stand up and be counted. Sign the petition: https://t.co/NdwoKq7k3o
There are only 8 Reform MPs and they have a combined wealth of over £70,000,000.
They have consistently voted against every single improvement to workers rights and plan to scrap legal protections left right and centre.
They are funded by the bosses to rip up your rights.
So far at the 2026 FIFA Epstein Cup before a ball kicked:
- Senegal & Uzbekistan squads treated like criminals upon arrival given full cavity searches;
- Africa’s best referee sent back to Somalia despite having a diplomatic passport;
- Iraq team photographer sent back despite valid visa;
- AIPS (international sport journalist association) calling on FIFA to sort out unacceptable visa issues of African & Iranian journalists;
- 90% of Moroccan fans with tickets denied entry
- 14 members of Iran backroom staff denied visas
Not a word from Gianni ”today I feel black/gay/disabled etc” Infantino.
Truer words never said. 👏👏👏
Privatisation of the water industry has been a fraud, the greatest act of criminality ever perpetrated against the people of England and Wales.
"Southern Water apologises after Winchester milestone removed."
So there's a mile stone on the Andover Road just outside Winchester, it's been there for 100s of years, guess who digs it up and then dumps it along with a load of other building waste in the local landfill?
Yep, step forward Southern Water.

I tweet every day to remind everyone that we need to #savenhsdentists in the UK thousands struggle to get NHS dentists, thousands can't afford private dentists, dentists have been privatised via the back door, please retweet,

Your cold rage should be for the Politicians and billionaires who are trying to divide our community so they can rule.
A moment of crystal clear clarity on Question Time last night.
This woman speaks the truth.
Arsenal have made contact with the camp of Emmanuel Mbemba with a view to sign him this window. The u19 PSG captain is open to a move away with Nuno Mendes blocking his pathway in France.
Arsenal have laid out a pathway which involves him potentially being loaned out mirroring the path of William Saliba.
Still work to be done to secure one of France’s top talents as Arsenal also make enquires for Elijah Upson & Sam Amissah
The data team at Arsenal are thought to be very keen on Mbema while Berta & Maurizio Micheli continues to build a youth dynasty at Arsenal to solidify the future of the English Champions.

After @NizaarKinsella great work 👌🏽
The problem with privatised water 💧
Around 90% of the world’s water is publicly owned - but England and Wales still run on a failed privatised system.
For too long, water companies have been aloud to extract cash from a public necessity, all while putting profits before people and public health.
The result? Polluted waterways, high bills and a system that isn’t working.
It’s time to end this failed experiment and bring England’s water back into public hands.

A good point raised by Chris Hinchliff MP.
“Absurdly for a country as wet as ours, we are hurtling towards a future where we are 6 billion litres of water short every year and the huge demands of tech companies AI data centres will only make that worse.”
"Welcome to sewage-on-sea: Britain's most fashionable tourist hotspot Whitstable is being despoiled by floods of effluent pouring into the ocean, just as the taps in homes and businesses run dry."
People in Whitstable and Kent really do get it from both ends, your sewage is dumped on to local beaches and your tap water gets cut off simply because the water company can't keep your supply running. Bloody hell.
