MetaMask let a North Korean-linked contractor sneak in with a fake name and mess around with their core code and mobile wallet for a full month. They even touched the sensitive part that converts crypto into real cash. The company didn’t even know it was happening. This is how broken and dangerous big wallets like MetaMask have become. If you’re still putting serious money in there, you’re taking a stupid risk.
RavenCoin on the other hand was built the right way from day one. No premine, no ICO, no team tokens — completely fair. Great question.

Ravencoin does not have a marketing dept or biz dev, but it has an extraordinary community that more than makes up for paid exposure.

I know some other tokens that have large treasuries from which they can promote projects. With Ravencoin, there are no VCs getting wealthy from token appreciation where the VC holds the bulk of the base token and can negatively impact the market at any time. RVN is mined into existence and has a healthy and wide distribution. Even $BYON holding of 120,000,000 RVN were mined or purchased.

Ravencoin has been running without interruption for over 7 years. SOL needs to be rebooted, ETH was rolled back with centralized control. Nobody wants that.

Token ownership on Ravencoin is transparent, but anonymous. When KYC is required, addresses can be tagged as KYCed so tokens can move only to KYCed addresses, while KYC information is privately stored.

It also has specific features (Restricted Assets) for security issuance that solves some of the sticky regulatory problems. These assets that always start with $, like $TZERO gives some super powers to the issuer.

Ravencoin also solves some fraud problems that plagued early tZero issuances by guaranteeing unique token names (like a domain name) to prevent fraud and increase branding possibilities. Other protocols do not have this feature as the only unique identifier is contract id, but multiple tokens can have the same name leading to confusion. Think of this Ravencoin feature as a decentralized CUSIP issuer.

The Ravencoin community is supportive of tZero’s efforts, and has been expecting a greater partnership since Ravencoin’s 2018 launch.

Since an issuance is digitally signed and can include an immutable offer, and the consideration is recorded on the blockchain in most cases, we just need to define acceptance since tokens can be shoved into an address without permission.

A digitally signed swap (payment for token atomic swap) should solve acceptance since it can’t be accomplished without the receiving party.

What else is needed? Does the address need to be linked to a human (KYC) for offer/acceptance to be acknowledged by courts?

Ravencoin can do all of this via tags+tokens.

We might just need usage plus technical and competent courts.
