Does this feel a little staged? I mean who knocks someone out that was making inappropriate comments to their family and then immediately check to see if they’re OK. Guy got calm way too quick. Now everybody that’s seen this video knows about this guy, even if it’s for being a jackass.
@emmysteuer Not to minimize the challenges you’ve faced, but It helps that you are very attractive and intelligent. I find the way you speak quite endearing. I understand why it would be an insecurity for most men.
@ChuckCook@robotaxi@elonmusk V15, will probably be delayed because v16 is running 100 times the parameters, but v16 will then be skipped as well because v17 is so good that it’ll run on all teslas allowing every tesla ever made to become a robotaxi overnight and also cure cancer. Elon can do no wrong.
You never waited to see if it actually followed through with the left turn. You took over before you even gave it a chance to figure it out, regardless of the left turn signal or not. When I assess my FSD, I will let it commit and move towards a certain decision before I take over. you making projections that it was going to do that is not the way this works. And your idea that this is a long ways away has no basis. Those kind of issues could literally be solved on the very next update for all you know. I think the bigger drawback for FSD is gonna be the ability to talk to the car like a personal driver on the fly. And get it to immediately readjust to the passengers needs immediately and safely.
@wholemars@elonmusk What about the quote for v14 lite for HW3 this summer. Elon says things regularly that don’t come true or change quite significantly. Are you secretly freelance/influencer based PR for Tesla.
I have been told that venture capital investments usually expect a longer time horizon, like 10 year commitments of money locked up.
To consider one has a formula effective enough to beat the s&p over a 5 year window seems a bit naive. Compare Netflix over 10 years and it’s not even close. 10 year or more time horizon is truly required to achieve greater returns that beat the market and create wealth.
@wholemars Double that every year and they’ll have 175 unsupervised vehicles by 2030 and 175k total vehicles by 2040. better than nothing, but not the kind of exponential growth we were hoping for
People don’t want FSD. They would rather drive and be miserable then give in to the technology. It’s too foreign an idea. I’d say less than 1% of total population even knows it’s real right now. And only 10% of Tesla owners even k is it’s real. Until insurance rates are lowered for FSD use adoption will remain low. I use it everyday. I tell people and they literally think I’m lying to them and what I’m saying isn’t possible because 60 minutes said it so.
Just like FSD release date is overhyped, so will be 14.3. Many forget 20 mil in 2030, FSD for nearly a decade, solar roofs, 4680 dry cathode, cybertruck, then 250k cybertrucks, semi, giga Mexico, unlimited demand for mega pack(refer to Q1), FSD 10.69 being a big deal, FSD 12, then 13 now 14.3 overhyped. 10k Optimus in 2025, then Optimus 3 unveil(delayed), cheaper models, the list goes on and on. I’m all in Tesla, because Musk is the greatest hype man in history. A modern day P.T. Barnum. Technology is the circus of the 21st century.
@JonErlichman What about Walmart? They had 681 billion in revenue this year. If they grow revenue by 5% per year they’ll earn roughly 4 trillion in revenue over next five years.
Have we not seen this story before. TSLA pops and people thinks it’s real this time. Don’t get you hopes up. t’s fair to say it’ll retest $300 again in next 12 months.
BTW, I’m all in TSLA. Just not sold that this is the parabolic “go time”. 6 -12 months before earnings increase significantly(2nd half 2027) will be the true parabolic move.
You are over simplifying this more accurate algorithm argument. When we have 6G or 7G and latency is nullified, the local AI models won’t be as necessary. Or significant algorithm breakthrough solves your MORE ACCURATE ALGORITHM solution. Until then, with local AI models running FSD, Elon Musk is in fact correct that more noise and increased latency does more harm than good and is simply not a viable solution at scale and everywhere.
@ButchSurewood@herbertong@Figure_robot There’s still a production capability issue. Tesla is only company solving for both real world AI and production scalability. Seems pretty obvious, but few speak of it.
